Rooms were very nicely decorated and comfortable. Hotel was in a convenient location with a nice view of the ocean and mountain

No staff on site (no reception etc) and doors are opened by a mobile app - when visiting we were on long day trips out so were often anxious our phones would die and we’d be locked out - would have preferred a traditional key card. The shower is also very tight and small and the whole bathroom floor gets wet.

This place is fabulous !!! The design of the building is so modern and nice, the room is extremely clean at some point I think it is better than staying at a hotel for this price !!! We really enjoy staying at this apartment. The location is so good close to everything and walk of of the building is the main street of Tromso and behind the apartment is the harbor where you can enjoy an excellent view of the sea !

Die Küche war komplett ausgestattet, für uns perfekt. Ein Supermarkt war gleich um die Ecke und einige Cafés und Restaurants sehr nah. Zimmer war sehr ruhig, weniger Schritte entfernt war das Ufer.

Gostei muito da localização, das instalações. O quarto é pequeno, mas tem tudo. A cozinha tem todos os utensílios necessários para cozinhar em casa, caso queira. O chuveiro funciona muito bem. Enfim, tudo adorável! Amei a vista para o mar!

O sistema da chave pelo aplicativo é interessante e funcionou muito bem. Mas sempre ficava com receio da bateria do celular acabar na rua e eu não conseguir entrar no apartamento.

Location was very handy to all amenities, quick access to the center and pick-up locations for tours. I like that our room has a nice vista - overlooking the Tromsfjord. I like the set-up or design of the apartment.

No microwave. It would have been very handy when heating up food or etc. There isn't much kitchen/cooking wares or accessories. The floors seemed not mopped and you can still notice all left over stains on some surfaces.

I wish I could say at least one positive point, but it’s impossible, considering that my flight was rescheduled and this hotel just ignored that and I lost all amount of my “stay”.

The worst experience I've ever had with Booking. I had a problem with my flight, which was rescheduled by the airline due to the terrible weather conditions, which affected the entire coast and north of Norway. It was a chaotic week in which I could barely leave the house. I sent a message immediately after receiving the email from the airline the day before and tried to contact them by email, either to reschedule for next week or for a refund, and was told that they couldn't reschedule, only make a NEW booking at a new cost. That's not fair. There were rooms available on Booking, I was willing to pay some extra fee or penalty, or have part of my money refunded, and the hotel's response was that they couldn't do ANYTHING to help me. A terrible experience, I definitely don't recommend it! The city of Tromso is totally dependent on tourists and is susceptible to depending on the weather conditions, considering that all activities are "outdoor", and this hotel did not do the least to understand and/or help its customers.

vander app: was not working and we stayed outside at midnight for an hour in order to get in. vander app customer number: in a call for 10mins just to tell me that he cannot help me on my check in issue. I called another number number for 5mins before he decided to send me their staff. vander app agency: racist staff who came in to resolve the app issue. He did not step out from his car when he arrived so I knocked his car window and told him that its me who needs help before he stepped outside after telling me to wait for few seconds. When we are in our room, my app was still not working and he told me to log out then log in, then it works. Here's the racist part: He told me that mostly that problem occurs when you came from Asia. I tried to take it light so I told him that yes we are originally from asia but we came from Switzerland as we live there. Then he tried to get it back by saying, ah I mean the phone made from Asia. I did not respond to that sentence because we are tired and I have my children whom the youngest (a downsyndrome) was sick (cough and runny nose) and it's been an hour we were outside -9°. Guys, we are in 2024. I know being a racist we cannot avoid but we can stick to professionalism. That is the line of work you choose, service. So do it accordingly and set aside your personal issues. Even with the issues during our check in, nobody give us the keycard or keys or whatever aside of the app. That staff just told me to log out then log in. I did that every now and then in elevator, in our room and late at night in the entrance until the day before we check out I received a message that the app broke down and I need to go to their office in the 2nd floor to get the key card. Really? Why just now? Honestly, the app performance is not ready yet to deploy at 100% especially the customers check in time varies depends on the flights arrival and ours was delayed.

Die Unterkunft an sich ist wirklich top. Ausstattung mega. Es gibt sogar einen Geschirrspüler. Zugang über Handyapp hat gut funktioniert (für den Anfang neu und gewöhnungsbedürftig). Müllentsorgung im Haus ganz unten gut erreichbar und alles gut ausgeschildert. Gute Mailerreichbarkeit bei Schwierigkeiten. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut erreichbar. Vor allem der Hafen und das Polaria sind in greifbarer Nähe. Für die Anreise kann man gegenüber auf den Parkplätzen sich hinstellen und dort in Ruhe ausladen. Für längere Standzeiten gibt es nur die Parkhäuser (sehr teuer!). Zum Polarmuseum, Trollmuseum usw. läuft man ein kleines bisschen, aber dafür kann man schön am Wasser entlang schlendern.

Wir fanden es schade, dass wir kein Zimmer weiter oben mit Ausblick hatten, sondern leider eines mit Blick in Richtung Restaurant und Gang. Könnte mir vorstellen, dass manche Menschen eine Mikrowelle in der Küche gut finden würden. Ich war etwas mit den ganzen Hausregeln überfordert, als ich sie gelesen habe und denen man neben der Bezahlung der Kaution zwingend zustimmen muss. Vor allem weil einiges von den Bestimmungen auch nicht vorher auf Booking.com ausgewiesen war (auf der richtigen Webseite von Vander dagegen schon). Besonders herausgestochen hatte für mich die Altersrestriktion von 25 Jahren. Diese sollte man beachten, wenn man diese Unterkunft bucht. Da wir über Silvester gebucht hatten und die Restriktion bis Ende 2023 wohl noch bei 20 Jahren lag, war es trotzdem okay, nachdem ich im Mailaustausch mit der Unterkunft war. Grundsätzlich kann ich die Unterkunft dennoch sehr empfehlen!

Although breakfast was not provided, the overall stay was enjoyable and comfortable. The water pressure was excellent, and the heater proved to be efficient, which is particularly important for me as a non-native to the country.

None to complaint for this trip. I shall return again.

Very modern, warm, spacious and clean. Perfect location for access to the city. Bus stop and supermarket 1 min away. The apartment contained kitchen, fridge, oven, dishwasher making it very economical as we wanted to self cater some of the time.

We couldn’t think of anything. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Anfangs das Schlüssel System, aber wenn man es erst einmal begriffen hat, ist es total easy und super. Das Schlafsofa war nicht ganz so bequem zum Schlafen.

It’s well maintained and at a very location.

You have to clear your own garbage before leaving. This is inconvenient. Also, since all you are dependent on is your phone, it makes it big scary to leave your in case you forget you phone inside, there isn’t much that you can do. Especially when you’re travelling solo. There should some way to contact the staff, or may it was there but wasn’t made very obvious.

The cumbersome app entry system and no real explanation or video on how to use it. Also for 3 people luggage storage could be improved. Finally a microwave would have been handy.

Das Besteck war nicht sauber und musste nachgespült werden. Das Schlafsofa hatte eine tiefe Mulde in der Mitte, war insgesamt zu weich und hatte deshalb einen schlechten Schlafkomfort.

The room exceeded all expectations and was exceptional in every way. The facilities were well-organized and offered more than what was anticipated. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the added bonus of a great view made the stay even more enjoyable.

The check-in process was quite problematic, especially for those with foreign phone numbers who were unable to receive SMS confirmations. Additionally, the lack of a proper lobby made it difficult to communicate with staff easily. Furthermore, it was disappointing that the cleaning service did not occur on a daily basis.

La ubicación y las vistas desde la habitación

El sistema que usan para las llaves se hace muy complicado. Si llegas tarde, como fue nuestro caso, nos tuvieron q ayudar otros huéspedes para poder entrar y además la entrada si llegas fuera de hora, tienes que bajar un piso con las maletas por las escaleras. Lo mismo hay que hacer si sales pronto, antes que abra la puerta principal. Subir con las maletas un piso por la escalera. En el ascensor también se usa la app para subir, por lo que, entre que no engancha bien y siempre te sale el apple pay, al final, si otros huéspedes han llamado al ascensor, te recorres todos los pisos del hotel hasta que por fin funciona la app y te deja ir a tu piso. El restaurante que está dentro del hotel en el primer piso, huele muchísimo y huele por todos los pisos. La habitación no es muy grande y la cama de matrimonio está pegada a la pared, con lo cual, uno tiene que entrar en la cama casi a gatas. El tema de que no haya limpieza tampoco me gustó mucho y si quieres toallas limpias te cobran
