The non stop barking dog. The rudest host ever encountered in 38 years of being Flight Crew on a Holiday. The room being given to me not being the one I chose. The inability/willingness of the host to be professional and work something out and to understand it isn’t about fault. When booking.com called the Host to assist in resolving this the Host refused to answer their calls. Despite the fact that the Host and I were texting the entire time). When after ONE HOUR of trying to fix this issue and the 3 of us sitting in a place we are not going to get comfortable in because we do not want to mess it up I’m told to pay $22 USD more to a PayPal account and I can then be upgraded to the room in question. But I will have to take the sheets from the closet and make our own sofa bed up!! That room smelled musty and mildew and THERE WERE NO SHEETS in the closet. After that the Host says they are “done with us” and cannot listen to any more of our complaints and will refund all money minus $10 for booking fee. Which I agree to and explain we were down the street (walking distance) for dinner and will clear out when finished. No problem. The Host says No. This offer is for Now. Two of us (we were 3) had to literally leave our dinner, one staying at the table, return pack up and leave. Which took 8 minutes once there. To date no refund has been credited. Aside from the non stop barking dog of the neighbor it’s not that the place itself was bad. Or the room we were wrongly assigned. However DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS HOST. Rude, condescending and not professional. Find me and I’ll show you the texts. The PayPal private request asking for money and the Booking.com texts showing they wouldn’t even answer the phone to solve a problem. All the Host did was blame us.

En general todo, muy cómoco, muy limpio, muy bonito, funcional, útil, me gustaría haber tenido conocimiento que se podía cocinar algo sencillo (para no gastar en alimentos y preparar yo misma), cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estancia confortable, tiene piscina, asador con carbón para carnes, además de muy seguro. Me encantó, cuando regrese a La Paz, segurmanete me hospedaré en CASA MAYA, 100% recomendable. Olvidaba comentarles, la habitación es para una persona, por eso es pequeña. pero por lo que me di cuenta hay de todos tamaños.

Tal vez la tv un poco chica, pero tiene muchos canales para todos los gustos, realmente no es que no me haya gustado, pero se agradecería un poco más grande

This was a super convenient place to be for a night in La Paz. Great neighborhood with delicious local food within walking distance. Check in/out was a BREEZE. Parking was provided. The casa was super comfortable and quiet with a nice atmosphere. We had plenty of room. The beds and sofa were wonderful. Everything worked as we hoped it would. Our host was responsive and helpful.

It would have been nice to have some basic kitchen items besides a setting for four. Just the basics would have been helpful: salt, pepper, oil, spatula, serving spoon, sharp knife, etc.
