Booked 2 nights and only stayed one. Very bad part of town. Walmart directly across the street. I was stuck in the elevator twice. The shower curtain would not stay closed because the arched bar holding it was broke and dangling, not to mention the curly hairs left in the tub.

Well the place was quite noisy. And ice machine not working, one of the elevators it working. Smokers near front entrance made the entrance way smell. Tried to charge my stay on my cards when I had paid through hotels.com

The only improvement is the parking and a few people loitering outside the front door but I carry a concealed weapon.

Check in staff was unfriendly. Elevator was not functioning properly. Room was dated. Breakfast was terrible.

It was okay bathroom needs updating

This is my second visit to this hotel, and even though my previous experience wasn't that good, it wasn't bad enough for me to not give it one more go. I'm pleased I did, because it was an improved experience, I will say that. So on balance, weighing up both visits, I would say that this hotel is perfectly fine and has redeemed itself somewhat after my previous visit. The location has the convenience of having a 7-11, gas station, Walmart, fast food restaurants and a fantastic steakhouse that you must, MUST go to! If you like steak that is... All within 5 minutes walking distance.

This Best Western is dated and seems like it is waiting for a brand change. It was not even close to being up to par with other BW's I have stayed in. There was no attention to any detail. It seemed that the employees just did not care. Small stuff but shows the lack of attention, the door knob for the bathroom was not aligned and loose, the TP holder roll was the wrong size for the holder and broken, dirt and debris in the hallway floors. Only one elevator was in working order. It was so slow it seemed like we were stuck between floors. I brought the issue up to the staff and they replied, "Yeah we know it is broke but we are not going o fix it until the slow season starts." It was August. We used the stairs mostly. I suggest the BW send a secret shopper to evaluate. We will never stay here again. Disappointed.

Front desk agent was very indifferent when we checked in, didn’t even smile a bit. Made us feel unwelcomed. Stayed here 2 nights. Room was comfortable and fairly clean. Walmart, Macdonald and 7 Eleven is within walking distance. The breakfast was reasonable. This is an old building, elevator was always busy. Pool wasn’t clean. It’s an average property, probably won’t stay here again.

We arrived late (having called to let them know) and were put in a room on a top floor facing the highway which was VERY loud and sleep was impossible. The next morning, we were waiting for the elevator and when the doors finally opened one of the hotel staff was on it and said we had to go up one floor to then go down. We asked if it was truly working properly and was assured it was fine, but “slow” and they had called for the repair service. We asked if we should just take the stairs and we were assured that the elevator was fine. We got on and pushed the 6th floor button and nothing happened, but we couldn’t go down or open the doors either. There were several minutes where nothing was happening at all and when we were finally able to, get the elevator doors to open up again we had to walk down 6 flights of stairs. When we spoke to the person who had assured us elevator was fine, there was little concern over the fact that we had been stuck in the elevator. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told she would not be available until the following day.

Over night, break from driving

First of all only one elevator worked, but it did not work properly. It was definitely malfunctioning! We had to take the stairs from the 5th floor several times. Then there was a strong gas smell on the 5th floor. Several of us smelled it and reported it to the front desk. They evacuated the hotel and we had to wait 2 hours until the emergency crew checked it out and gave the all clear so we could return to our rooms. The next morning, the Hotel personnel decided to paint the trim on the outside of the elevator door at the busiest time when everyone was going to breakfast. I held the elevator door open for some other guests and unknowingly was leaning against the wet painted trim. The lady that painted the trim pointed to the wet paint sign that was not visible to me or the other guests that were coming out of the elevator. The front of my shirt was covered in wet white paint. I frantically poured my water bottle on my shirt and scrubbed the paint off. Shockingly it came off but I was soaked and we were getting ready to check out. This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have ever experienced. Management needs to address these issues.

Good place

One elevator was extremely slow and we had to use the stairs to our 5th floor room several times. The other elevator was out of order. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had variety and was very satisfying.

This place was great! Nice and clean. All the necessities required.

Conveniently located right off the highway, 7-11 with a couple food stores right next door. Just make sure you lock your doors is all.

**DO NOT STAY!** I had a dreadful experience at this hotel. I booked a room for three nights but left after less than an hour. The front entrance and elevator area were filthy, with a soaking wet floor. Initially, we were assigned a room on the fifth floor, but the elevator malfunctioned. When we requested a room on a lower floor, we were given one that reeked of cigarette, despite being on a non-smoking floor. We were then moved to a third room that still had a strange odor and felt like a basement with no natural light. The conditions were unacceptable, and despite leaving after less than an hour, the hotel refused to refund the first night. I was appalled by the lack of cleanliness and customer service. I ended up finding another hotel and wasted time dealing with this situation. Save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere.

Sour milk in breakfast, only one elevator worked and sometimes are very slow. Car party outside the hotel through 10:30.

I had a great experience, which I wasn’t surprised because it wasn’t my first stay at BW. It was my birthday, and I invited my son to stay with me at the hotel instead of going to his house. No regret it was a very good experience.

Simply one of the cleanest and most modern Best Western properties I have ever stayed at. All the amenities at a consistently reasonable price. Highly recommended.
