Enjoyed our stay here. Paid extra for jacuzzi tub. Would stay here again.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The beds were quite soft. It was perfect for my quick overnight trip. The pool looked good too

Nice quiet location 16 min walk to beach Only problem. Pool need cleaning bugs in water. Chair in 3ft end. Something wrong. With pool concrete.

I stayed here for the Ironman event and it was perfect. It was quiet so I got great sleep, walkable to depot park, stores and places to eat. The room was recently renovated so it was so much nicer than I expected. Had a working microwave and fridge, was clean, and Bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again for my next trip to SC

We chose this hotel because it was within walking distance of the Boardwalk, and it offered jet tubs. We were pleasantly surprised at the whole property. It's super adorable, and well kept! Beautiful little hotel, nice pool area, and clean. The person handling the front desk and his wife however, made the stay very nice and comfortable. They were so friendly, and happy to help with anything you may need, cared about your stay and had pride in how they cared for the property itself. We will deffinately stay at this hotel anytime we come to the Santa Cruz area!

This is one better hotels that I have had the pleasure to stay at. The only complaint would be our room was a little on the hot side at night. Besides that it was a pleasure to stay.

Hotel had minimal staff but they were friendly. The room wasn’t very clean. There was mold in the shower and hair. No cable TV. The thing available was YouTube and Freevee.I had to plug the phone in to call the front desk. No fresh coffee in the morning, just a Keurig in the room. Will not stay here again

Gritty old Santa Cruz motel that has been flipped on the cheap. If you're not comfortable with the vibe in Santa Cruz, stay somewhere else. This is in the part of town where the working class people live and if that bothers you, you won't like it here. I always felt safe and I slept well. But don't look too closely at anything in this hotel

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Its like a 10-15 walk to the boardwalk which was nice. The rooms are comfy and clean.

The hotel was comfortable and in a good location. Also loved that it was pet friendly with places to take your pet out and we always found a parking spot. Staff was nice and check in was easy. I had read reviews about the hotel being noisy but we did not think it was noisy during our stay. We slept great. Also, the other guests at the hotel were very nice and friendly. Overall a very positive experience.

Was a decent stay. Staff very nice .. it’s a bit loud I was street side and you can hear everything also in middle by pool so not the best rest. Though beds were cozy. Easy walk to the boardwalk probably 15 minutes which was fine for us.

We had to complain multiple times about our noisy upstairs neighbor, and show proof in person (of a video) recording of the stomping around sliding stuff across the floor until 1 a.m. The manager offered to move us rooms at 1 a.m. to which we declined because we drove 4 hours and were just trying to get some rest. He later lied to Expedia saying he offered us an upgraded room. We found mold in our hotel room but opted to avoid that issue until we left because he wasn't taking kindly to our noise complaint issue already. When I called and reported the noise at 10 something , I went and asked for bed sheets at the front desk.. I overheard him ask the man upstairs who we just complained about if he's from India too, and then started talking to him in their language. After that encounter, we still had to make another complaint about noise because it continued until 1 a.m. The manager I spoke to said the man told him he was sleeping so he doesn't know what to do, to which we said he's lying because we have a video of him and he asked us to come show him, at almost 1 a.m. I told him then and there that if I had the money to get a different room I would just leave, but it's late and I'm tired, I just wanted to rest. I barely slept and woke up at 7 so I was exhausted after driving home 4 hours away. When I was leaving I told him I barely slept and showed him photos and videos of the water puddle underneath the cooler, and told him that black mold is dangerous to be breathing.

Friendly, professional staff. Location is close to the Boardwalk and perfect for Wharf to Wharf!

Overall, the property was clean and well maintained, except for the dog feces at the end of the walkway. No one cleaned them up for the four days we were there. A nice area to walk the dog but no poo bags were available. All employees were friendly and helpful and responded quickly to requests.

The pool had like holes in it because in needed to be resurfaced very badly. The hot tub was not very hot. It was like a Nuke warm bath. Staff was hard to understand. Had to ask for toilet paper and towels outside. A property wasn’t bad but the place needed to be maintenance.

Got blamed for a broken door handle that I know for sure we didn't do and me going back to the office to argue that point should show that. Either an employee did it on accident and was too scared to lose their job or you got the wrong room number or the hotel is very shady. Either way way I know my son and I did not do it 💯. They $$$ me for this. The manager was not good to deal with and very unreasonable.

The stay was perfect the room and location were better than expected! The room its self was very clean and comfy with everything we needed. Would book again in the future!

Excellent place to stay at! Will return in the future

I will absolutely be returning to the Aqua! The front desk was SO friendly; we had a wonderful conversation and he was so helpful. Amenities were also very nice. For being such an affordable hotel, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised! Beds were very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was also very clean and stocked with the essentials (body soap, shampoo and conditioner).

I did enjoy the stay, the property was hard for parking. I didnt Receive a parking pass.

My stay was good! I had asked for an extra blanket and they never brought it! The desk girl apologized when she saw me in the morning!

This place is bare bones, but nicely updated. Our favorite part was the pool. It was heated. About a mile walk to the Boardwalk and beach.
