Lovely peaceful remote area, ideal for our short break. Secure. Bird song, swans and ducks. Car being parked fairly nearby. Helpful staff. Holly met us from car with wheelbarrow to help us with our luggage to boat. Explained most things and very useful book with lots of details in pictures as well as words. Water was easy to fill. Swan and duck food onboard. tea coffee etc available to use, plus eggs and some sweets etc. Nice bed and bedding and towels. Weather on day 1 was great.

Electricity turning off as electrician had plugged power into wrong socket. Concern over toilet tank filling up. Slight concern over gas needing change over. Slight concern that electricity would go off again. Swans trying to attack us while we fed them. We managed this between us though!! Used previous persons towels still there on hooks on back of doors. Rain but we managed. TV (might have been us) but couldn't get to watch any live TV, only on catch up.

The location was very peaceful. The added bonus of quietness for relaxation. Wildlife was fantastic.

It was so cosy and lovely and quiet. Nice little walk along the canal too. I was surprised how big the boat is - lots of room to mill about!

I completely understand why, but the bed had a mattress protector which felt like plastic, which wasn't the most comfortable, but saying this, I would still go back :-)

Everything was just perfect, so peaceful and relaxing. We wish we could have stayed longer.
