Lovely peaceful country location ... 4 miles from Lavenham ... you need your own transport. Very spacious room on the front with a lovely big bed and a very soft mattress plus spacious ensuite with shower. Fridge with fresh milk in the room, along with kettle and tea, coffee and biscuits. Enormous TV. Plenty of cupboard/drawer space for clothes. Very nice owners.

Nothing to dislike ... would love to stay again. A pity the village pub (The Swan) is currently closed ... not sure if/when this will re-open. If you want to dine-out you need to travel into Lavenham or Sudbury ... dark country lanes.

Lovely, homely house in a peaceful, pretty area The owner was extremely friendly, warm and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her, even though there was a gluten free/ alternative milk drinker and a vegetarian with fussy egg preferences She even rang me up the following day as I had left my swimsuit in a drawer

The bathroom, although private to us, wasn't ensuite which was only a problem in the middle of the night Also, the shower head is not attached to the wall nor screened which made things a little awkward

Super lovely hosts. Lovely comfy beds. Fabulous breakfast spread. I had the front room which was chintz heaven with an avocado suite. Like going back to my Nans (in a very good way).

The rooms are very elegantly decorated, as if we travel back to the Victorian era. The owner has paid a lot of attention to all the small details, making the rooms extra cozy. The location is very quiet at night.

I would have liked a separate show [ not over the bath

The full English was freshly cooked and lovely with a wide range of choice of cereals. Very dog friendly with a big garden. Easyparking and a quiet Location.

The shower over the bath isn’t adjustable in height.

Lovely stay. Accommodation was slightly dated but clean, and comfortable. Not the best view from our room as we were overlooking farm sheds. The host was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Would stay again.

There was an issue with payment through booking.com. We had to pay at the accommodation. We presumed the bill was paid in advance but it was explained to us by the owner why the payment hadn’t been taken. I feel we should have been informed at the start of the stay instead of the morning of check out. We could have potentially spent all our money by then and been unable to pay our bill.

Fabulous friendly hostess, exceptionally clean guest areas, comfy bed, private bathroom, lovely breakfast and such an array of coffees and teas avaliable near room. Fridge for guest use. Lovely garden. Didn't have time to use pool.

Nothing to dislike. Good parking and in handy location to explore this part of Suffolk
