Great location. Authentic aussie pub. Spartan, old but very clean room and nice toiletries. Quiet after 11.
Bar staff gave me the key and took my payment but too busy with a full Friday arvo bar of blokes to explain the facilities. No lift, tricky stairs, shared bathroom with young blokes.

It was clean. It was quiet once the pub closed about 11pm.
They had lots of pillows to choose from.
They had soft, clean towels.
There was no kettle in the room as advertised.
There was no chair in the room.
The room was on the balcony so you had to walk outside to get to the shared bathroom
The door to the outside shared bathroom did not lock and anyone( not just other guests could walk in). The bed was very soft.

The staff were friendly and accommodating especially the bar staff . Easy parking and location though at the end of town was still an easy walk to the Centre.
It would have been great to have a mini fridge in the room plus there was no wardrobe to hang or organise clothing.

outside was noisy. I think the noise came from the compressor downstairs for the bar. I booked two rooms, both my staff and myself can not sleep for the whole night

The friendliness of the staff & owner was 1st class.
Our room had no running water or toilet, no wardrobe, chairs or mirrors.

For a pub it was good.
Then fact that I had already paid through bookings .com ($112.50) and then on check-in was refused a room and was expected to pay $125 again. was too tired to argue. raised the question, they said would refund the money via Bookings.com. Still haven't been reimbursed by either then Pub or bookings.com.,

The shower faucet needs urgent repairs.
It a bit hard to to shower & hold the faucet up at the same time.

there wasn’t very much hanging space for clothing

there was no fridge ,toast ,jug in room the toilet wasn’t working and seat was broken and no wifi Internet the room smell to strong incense smell to cover up the smell of Mould

Staff were very friendly! Location was a 10min walk from towns CBD and the value for money exceptional!

Clean/comfortable bed with new fresh linen. Well made. New paint/carpet and price point. I travel through Mudgee often and sometimes am looking for something with character but clean that has a good price point.
Room 11 could have a bedside light
Worried about wood window frame breaking.

The room was spacious for kids and linen was clean
Reception was in the bar, passing through the bar with very minor children was very unpleasant for all of us. There was no microwave and a dedicated water jug to use for boiling water yet no meal provisions at the facility was not conducive for kids. The other bathroom had an open windows with no glass, someone from outside could see everything if they look up.

Staff were awesome and friendly. They had a good laugh with the patrons. Rooms were clean and well presented
