We had a blast. Nobody wanted to go home, thats how i judge a quality vaca. Hosts were awesome, location is great. Quiet and relaxing neighborhood. Zero complaints about anything.

The owners of the property offered prompt and detailed communication throughout the stay, which was helpful. The interior of the home was clean when we arrived, and the space provided plenty of room for our family. The kitchen provided all of the utensils that one would need to cook, and the bedrooms and bathrooms provided decent amenities. The outdoor entertaining space was comfortable, but it would have been nice if the outdoor fan was operational. The grounds were in reasonably good shape. The firepit area was a nice touch. However, there were weeds growing in the sand and down by the water that had not been tended. Overall, I would say that the rental provided us what we needed, but the requirement to wash all of the sheets and towels before a 10am departure seemed excessive in light of the fact that you are trying to pack up your belongings.

Great property and location at Lake Norman. Very comfortable well-furnished house. It would great for us as a mid-week escape.

We had a great time visiting Lake Norman. The house was perfect for our group of 9. We really enjoyed a few games of pool in the evenings after a day spent out on the lake. Would definitely rent again.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. We enjoyed the pontoon boat and lake Norman. House had plenty of seating and nicely appointed bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Owners are very responsive to questions. View from the upper deck is awesome.

Beautiful home, just as advertised! Very clean, well stocked, great amenities. Location was really convenient to a marina, dining and grocery. This was our first visit to Lake Norman and after doing some exploring around the lake by boat, we really appreciated the homes location on the water as well. Hosts were great and easy to work with!

What a great house! The layout and size was perfect for the family and friends to celebrate.

This house was perfect for our family of 8. The updated kitchen and common area were very attractive and inviting. My favorite part of the house was the big windows in the kitchen area overlooking the lake and of course the porches. The house was very clean and well equipped with blankets, towels, and kitchen supplies. My only negative comment about the house was having to wash the sheets and towels on the last day before you checked out at 10:00. This added more stress to an already stressful morning of packing and cleaning the house. However, the homeowners were very understanding when I didn't quite have everything washed and dried. Excellent house, excellent yard, and excellent location on the lake.

The house was wonderful. I loved the porch over the upper deck so much I had my husband taking notes. We enjoyed just sitting around on the deck enjoying the evenings, My son and his wife actually caught quite a few fish from the dock one night. The reason for that title is because are family wanted a beautiful lake home to relax for a week while we watched our son play in his college baseball conference championship. He plays for VCU and they’re in the A-10 Conference. This home we rented was ideal!! If you’re looking for a waterfront property on a beautiful lake that’s very quiet and clean this is your place! Restaurants and shopping are only minutes away. Wildlife all over the place! We will definitely be renting from Susan and Jeff again. Btw… Susan and Jeff are the owners and any question you have they will respond very promptly. We rent with VRBO quite often and this home rates up near the top.!! Thanks Susan and Jeff for a wonderful vacation!!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Lake Norman. View was beautiful. House is spacious and well decorated with good theme. It is also well stocked with kitchen gadgets and dishes etc. Mattress in the bunk beds were sagging! All other rooms were good. Jacuzzi did not work, dishwasher was temperamental did not work consistently. Jeff was always available and responded promptly to all our concern. We did laundry except the last day, trying to get out by 10:00 AM and doing towel and bed sheets were not possible. All in all we had good times.

We had a beautiful & relaxing week as a family. The property and home were very beautiful and well maintained. The owners were very hospitable, and responded promptly with any question we had during the week.

We were very pleased with this property and house. It was so much fun to get together with all of our grown children and significant others. The house had all we needed and we had great weather. It was a very relaxing week, kyaking, paddleboarding and tubing on the lake. We would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay for vacation!

Amazing property! The home is beautiful with all the nice touches - indoor/outdoor speakers throughout the property and lots of outside seating! We truly enjoyed our stay and the homeowners made sure they had plenty of towels and extras to make are stay wonderful! We will be back!

The home was warm and inviting. Fabulous kitchen which we cooked all our meals. The kids enjoyed the yard and the sand area. We rented a boat for two days and it was great to use the home’s dock. Plenty of room and a great neighborhood to take a walk.

My family had a great time in this lake house! The home was recently renovated so it is very up-to-date and beautifully decorated. We loved the view of the water and the peacefulness of the inlet that the house sits on. We rented a pontoon boat and spent lots of time on the water! The inlet is also calm and protected so it was great for stand-up paddleboarding. Owners were responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Our stay at Susan & Jefferys home couldn’t have been better. The kitchen/outside seating area was amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better layout for our family to gather. Susan & Jeffery were easy to get ahold of, and promptly answered any questions we had prior to, and during our stay. Excellent hosts and excellent house.
