A very cool and comfortable stay- The rooms are well done aesthetically- and we slept great. All our needs were met- from coffee to breakfast to recommendations to a taxi to the airport. Felt like I was staying at a friends hip apartment- Highly recommend.

My daughter and I enjoyed 2 nights at Bastio and could not have been happier. Everyone at the hotel was lovely and so helpful, giving us dinner suggestions and places to visit during our stay. The room was exceptional, bed was soooo comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! Perfetto!!!

Celso and Evelyn are so helpful, kind, friendly and always smiling. Celso allowed early check in. Evelyn was always willing to go the extra mile. Great location. Luca (in the restaurant) was a very nice waiter, too!

The property itself is nice once you get up to the rooms there is no elevator but the staff was so nice he brought up all our luggage's it's one person who does it all. This is a very small hotel only has 5 rooms, but it's really cute once inside. Its right in city center which is great walking for anyone who wants to be right there, but Catania was too dirty for my taste.

this is a great property and the rooms are really nice. Please know Google maps did make a little challenging to fine but when searching for the hotel, please note there are two restaurants right next to it an Italian restaurant, and a sushi restaurant and you can use them as a guide to find the front door to the hotel.

We were greeted by a very kind and professional gentleman, Celso. He went out of his way to make our stay flawless. Our room was immaculate and architecturally impressive and soundproof. The steamroom/shower is something that I want built in my own home Bastio is a private sanctuary in the middle of where it’s all happening. It’s a quick ride from the airport with convenient parking in the prime location in Catania. The breakfast was lovely with fresh squeezed Sicilian orange juice and yummy vittles. I will always stay here at Bastio Suites. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you Celso! Hope that we can return SOON!

This boutique hotel is an absolute GEM! The room was spacious, filled with beautiful and finess details, including a fancy spa/Hamam/shower system, and beautiful furniture and woodwork. The level of details is impressive and includes high quality snacks and drinks in the mini bar. The compound is very worm and nice, and feels very romantic. The location is wonderful, just next to the main elephant fountain and the beautiful Basilica, which is practically part of the hotel complex, and is also next to a reasonably priced parking lot if you use a rental on your trip. The experience was wonderful especially thanks to Celso, which made sure we are always well accommodated, went out of his way to make sure our stay is enjoyable, and was generally so plesent and worm hearted. Celso you are really something special (: To conclude - highly recommended and very reasonably priced, it has the experience and details of super luxurious 5 star boutique hotel, with the prices of a "regular" hotel, so we advice to "grab it while you can", as I will not be surprised if the prices will rise soon (and still be justified) (:
