the free parking. the property had everything we needed. the location was great. perfect property for anyone who has no mobility issues (there are a lot of stairs).

the slightly low rating was due to the fact that the bathroom was not on the same level as the bedrooms and unfortunately that is a real pet hate for me. hate having to go downstairs to the bathroom if I wake up in the middle of the night. the other issues (for me - due to the fact I have a bad knee) really struggled with all the steps, to go into the flat and to go up to the bedroom.

Lighting and information about stairs

In a great position for exploring the town and the area.It was difficult getting parked nearby until evening.The rooms and decor were lovely. The kitchen was clean and well equipped.The views up the street from the windows were great.

I found all the stairs and steps a bit challenging. I'm sure they would be fine for younger people.

Quirky with lots of interest and great location

I liked the location, it was right on the main street which was so convenient. I also appreciated the keys were in a lockbox so there wasn't restrictions on times we had to check-in by. The apartment was so spacious, I didn't expect it to be as big as it was and it was well stocked with everything we could need and more. It felt like walking into a home, it was so comfortable and welcoming. I loved that Jo and family left us a personal note and that they'd treated us with some goodies for our stay. They were definitely the best hosts we've had, they replied to any questions I had super quick, even though we never met in person I could feel their warmth and friendliness from their messages, they also put in the effort to recommend places for us to visit so we could have the best stay possible.

There was parking on the street outside but it's on quite a steep hill and was difficult to get parked because it was already very busy. I did have to park a couple of streets away but it wasn't a massive walk so that wasn't a big problem. The apartment wasn't absolutely spotless, some of the pots did look a little grubby, but I think that's to be expected when it's an apartment and the guests are expected to keep it clean and tidy.

Location, comfortable beds, and lovely sitting room.

Just having to walk downstairs to the bathroom during the night. Room with single beds could benefit from having bedside tables.
