We loved our stay at Lake Escape. The location was nice and private. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock. The house had everything we needed and more. If we return to Lake Norman, we would definitely stay here again.

I can't say enough good things about both the property and the family that owns this home. The house is clearly loved. The house was spotless, filled with everything you think you could need, and the view was gorgeous. I would love to come back again for another family gathering! Thank you for your hospitality!

My wife, two teenage kids and I spent an awesome 4 days at this beautiful home on the lake. Jessica's communication was awesome from the weeks leading up to the trip and also during it as well which made everything so easy. Additionally, I have stayed at many VRBO homes at Lake Norman and we have never experienced a home that was set up as conveniently as this one and the check out process was a breeze as well. We used the fire wood that is provided by the owners to get a fire going each of our 3 nights and that is a nice added bonus. We spent the nights by the fire enjoy lots of laughs and a good time. While hanging out by the fire at night, we kept a couple of fishing rods in the water with cat fish bait and we caught a really big one which was a blast as well. We caught a couple of bass as well during the day. We used the kayaks and SUPs each of the days which is another great bonus that allows you to get out on the water to enjoy the lake more. The view off the back of the yard is absolutely beautiful and we spent a lot of out time out back. Inside, they have a great game room that we enjoyed quite a bit. 65 inch TVs ready for easy streaming and really strong wifi service. Overall, I would definitely recommend this home and I would not be surprised if my family and I stay here again in the future. Awesome trip!!!

Very lovely home, great location and all the amenities for a perfect lake vacation. Super, super clean!! Well stocked kitchen and attention to detail. Lovely decor, comfortable seating. Fire pit on the lake was a great place to sit, grill and enjoy lake views.

This property looks exactly as advertised. Excellent home to rent for a family getaway. Lots of indoor and outdoor activities. The home is sitting directly on Lake Norman, perfect spot for fishing. My son caught his first bass here. It was so exciting. The house was very clean and well stocked. We are looking forward to visiting again.

Raised the bar for what a VRBO experience can be! Hosts have thought of absolutely everything - we have never had a stay that didn't involve a store run for a needed item to cook, store food, clean, enjoy amenities or otherwise. Communication was prompt and through too. This was a last minute, short stay but we are already checking calendars and hoping to return later this spring/summer.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this beautiful house on the lake! So many amenities! Lots of spots to relax and a game room too! Great place for a group of friends or family to reconnect. But do something we weren't able to...stay longer!!

The house is exactly as it is described. It’s very clean and welcoming with a lot of space. Everything is well labeled and organized. They stock it with toiletries and all the kitchen supplies you’d need. We were there off season but the neighborhood was quiet. It’s a very nice home with a quaint spot on the lake. We didn’t use it but the dock was large and looked brand new. Lots of stores and restaurants close by. We didn’t need to contact the owners for anything but check-in/out was the easiest out of all the homes I’ve rented over the years. We would rent again from Lake Escape. It seems like a well run rental company.

Beautifully decorated and very well appointed vaca home for guests. Kitchen had everything we needed, laundry room was supplied with a few laundry soaps, swim towels and more. The Game room was fun and the kayak and SUP boards were also fun. We utilized the outside fire pit every evening and appreciated there was firewood. Jess was very quick and responsive when we had a need arise. We will certainly love to stay at Sunny Daze again or even try one of their other vacation homes.

We wanted a relaxing fall getaway for our 20th anniversary. We LOVED this home - beautiful, well kept, every single thing we needed, easy walk to the water and so much to do. Once we got groceries we didn’t leave the house for the week. It was so relaxing we had a hard time coming home. Thank you for having us!

The house exceeded our expectations. The dock was well maintained and the driveway made it easy for us to get our boat trailers in without having to backup anywhere. We did have a power issue that was out of the owners hands but tried to be accommodating. Honestly we go to lake Norman every year and out of every place I’ve ever stayed at I will tell say that the owners care more then any other Vrbo owner I’ve ever personally dealt with.

We loved staying here! My entire family had such a good time. The house is beautiful and was perfect for our needs. Would definitely come back!

This home had everything our family could need to enjoy a short lake vacation. The home was fully stocked for all of our indoor and outdoor needs. Jess was very responsive when there was an issue and overall, was very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this vacation rental.

Everything about this house was amazing. It was so clean and had everything we needed and then some. There was an issue with the wifi (which isn’t their fault) but Jess was on top of it and even told me when there was an issue even before I realized it. This was our first visit to Lake Norman but not our last. We had the best time and none of us wanted to leave. Definitely wanting to stay here again!!!

We have traveled as a family to a variety of different lakes and houses over the past few years, this is the first house that I want to book again for next summer. I can't say enough great things. Here are a few highlights: 1) House was wonderfully stocked- laundry supplies, assorted Keurig pods with cream/sugar options, kitchen was organized and thoughtfully stocked with updated appliances- brand new Ninja blender (it is always annoying to find super old appliances). FIREWOOD 2) The basement with the games provided are thoughtfully sourced for both old and young kids and in excellent condition. 3) The linens- the towels were as nice if not nicer than what we have in our own house and the bed linens were really comfortable and correctly fit the beds (NEVER happens with rental linens) 4) The dock!- the dock is composite, no splinter risks for the kids!!! No spiderwebs on the ladder for us to have to clean off! Solar lighting at night so we can see where we are going! 5) outdoor toys- the closet was well organized, the floats were in great shape and really clean. The swim mat was easily the most used thing for our kids to play in the water. 6) DOGS! You would NEVER know the property is dog friendly - zero hair/dander/wearing on any of the furniture. 7) Owners- loved the ability to have the welcome information sent digitally, and the fact that we just needed to lock the door when we left is what made us really feel like we were on vacation. Can't wait to come back next summer

We had an amazing mini-vacation at this beautiful lake home! This house is in a perfect location and is great for families! The owners literally thought of everything and the house was so well stocked! We loved hanging on the dock as a family, letting the kids play on the water mat, while the adults enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. The game room was beyond amazing and fun was had by all, including a basketball competition! Jessica was super responsive and the house was immaculate! We will be back and will stay longer! Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Loved the house and the location was close to everything! The only bad thing was the cleaners were there before we checked out at 10:00am, which is ridiculous since we cannot check in till 4 but have to be out by 10:00am!

Beautiful property with a lot of amenities. The kayaks and paddle boats were a lot of fun! The scenery was magical. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need, there was plenty of space for the 9 of us, and the kids really enjoyed the game room.

I recently stayed here with family (5 adults, 3 kids, 3 dogs) and we had the best time. The house is exactly as pictured, very clean, and the hosts truly thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay. The location is beautiful2, on a quiet cove on Lake Norman, as well as close to grocery stores, restaurants, bars, hiking, etc. I would highly recommend Sunny Daze to anyone!

My family and I enjoyed this warm and welcoming vacation home to its fullest. The hosts were amazing and have not missed a mark with equipping this house with every family want and need.
