We were very happy with our stay at this property. It is a cute little house right on the river. Very peaceful and quiet yet offering all the amenities associated with home. It was an easy drive to many of the attractions around Virginia Beach (within 30 minutes) although we hadn’t realized we would need to travel through the tunnel each time (involved a toll). Definitely suggest it for anyone looking to be away from the typical beach busyness.

Really nice property. Just a few minor suggestions. Provide a broom. Needs a dinner table. Maybe a few mattresses toppers for the beds. A nice well kept property.

Debbie was such a wonderful host. Fast to respond to text messages. The house is so charming and well kept and the views cannot be beat especially the sunsets. Would highly recommend. Great location if you are visiting your Sailor.

We stayed here for a job we were working at. We loved the fishing and the beautiful views. We have to come back a few more times for work, hopefully we can stay here again!

The VRBO was all that it appeared. Very clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to put a dining table inside the home. If the weather is bad there is no place to have a meal or play a cards or a game.

This property was perfect for our family. House was clean, neighborhood was quiet. Short drive to all the things we wanted to do and see. Definitely recommend staying here when in the Norfolk area.

Stayed here with family for a wedding. The upstairs area was great for the kids and the beds downstairs were comfy and the rooms were perfect. Walls were a bit thin, so keep that in mind when booking with large parties and children (my goodness kids are loud lol), but the house itself was perfect for our needs. Even came with a rumba! Excellent hosts and easy communication. Would definitely book again.

6 of us from NW Ohio get together each spring to visit a different military themed location. Decided on Norfolk this year. Dan and Deb were wonderful! I had all the info needed to get checked in prior to arrival, they communicated via text message and made our stay effortless. Accommodations were awesome! Quiet neighborhood with an awesome view! Highly recommend!

Everything was as described. The property was beautifully designed and roomy. One whole wall of views of the lake--lovely! I was first guest to stay at the property, so things were a little bumpy at the start, but the owners worked hard to see that everything was resolved quickly.
