After hiking for 8 days on the Stubai trail, hotel Maximilan is the treat we expected and desired. The hotel is perfectly located in Innsbruck old town, next to the river. The staff is nice, welcoming and attentive, especially Franchesca at the reception who greeted us with a smile and cared for all our questions and requests. Breakfast is absolutely brilliant (the best I have ever experienced) with a great variety of dishes including fruits (melon, watermelon, mango, strawberry and even exotic fruits such as lychee, Pitaya and more), vegetables, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheeses, salami, etc. Wifi is good, there is a ski room to dry shoes. The room is cosy, clean and spacious and the bed is comfortable. Bottom line: this hotel exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to treat him/herself with a top-notch hotel at an affordable price

Front desk staff was very helpful. Family room - with bunkbeds- made the teenagers very happy. Great use of space. Perfect location with excellent views.

That the parking area is not exactly in-front of the hotel, its a parking garage that 2min away from the hotel.

Gracious service and facilities. Everything a hotel should be. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was very friendly. Little extras in the room such as a Nespresso machine and small snacks. We had the family room and It was perfect for parents and a teenager. Being able to easily and safely store our luggage for our last days’s sightseeing in their luggage locker room was a bonus. Location is very central.

Location is perfect - the Old Town is a few minutes away. The hotel is very clean and well maintained.

The pillows were a bit bulky for our taste.

Breakfast was delicious. Everything was easy to use and understandable.

Cleaning service would leave my window open and let bugs in. My toilet paper holder broke and they simply got rid of it. Elevators were slightly broken. 6th floor does not have an elevator level so you have to walk.

This hotel is in a perfect location, clean, with a good breakfast.

One thing to be aware of is that our room had a smoked glass half door to the bathroom. This does not afford much privacy, and is less than ideal for a family that includes a daughter. Would not be an issue for most couples.

The hotel "Maximilian" is clean and super nice, the hosts of this cozy place are very pleasant, a huge thanks to them. The location of the hotel is wonderful: it is close both to the main railway station and to the all sights. I couldn't even find any cons, because we had everything we would need in the hotel. The mountain view from our room from both windows was fantastic. Our room was equipped with everything we needed and was very clean. I would like to mention the perfect breakfast - we had the room with the breakfast included, and it was really incredible: besides the standard breakfast dishes like omelette, wonderful cheeses and so on, we got a chance to taste exotic fruits, everything was delicious :) I would like to thank the café manager Vita, she is very pleasant and kind and knows every detail we wanted to clarify. To sum up, we had a wonderful time in the hotel, and I am sure during our next visit to Innsbruck we will stay here. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

I have to tell that we simply have been over the moon impressed by Lady Isolde. She was one of the most wonderful host that we have ever met during all our stays. She offered us all the help and info we needed, all with a warm smile on her face. The breakfast was amazing, with a nice range of fruits, as well as many other products of good quality, all in a cozy atmosphere. Also, the location was perfect, in the heart of the city, with a walking distance parking. All together, it was a very good experience. And, wait, did I mentioned the wonderful host? :)

Everything was great. Only one thing could have been different, meaning the bathroom. It was a little without intimacy, with the glass walls. But really, this I remembered as a problem only that my kids reminded me of it!

Perfectly situated near the Old Town with nearby restaurants and cafes. Efficient check in and friendly reception staff. Comfortable room with all usual facilities. Taxi arranged for our early departure to the airport in the morning. Good shopping and sightseeing nearby. Taxi rank for excursions right outside the door.

We had an early flight so didn't take breakfast but it looked well organised with fresh rolls delivered as we were leaving.
