The view was great, peaceful and perfect. It is also close too town and has a nice walking trail in back.

The futon bed was not at all comfortable and squeaky so not good for sleeping if u want two beds.

The motel was very clean and it seemed to be newly renovated. It was near town and we had a great view of Lake Superior from our large window. There was a deck with chairs, a table, and an umbrella right outside our room. The bed was comfortable and there was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. The check in and check out process was easy. It was affordable and we really enjoyed our trip!

Advertised for 2 queen beds and 1 bed and sofa bed required to make the bed with sheets supplied. Also no breakfast options. Too many emails confirming stay at least a dozen.

Beautiful view of Lake Superior and the walking path to Bayfield.

Very modern, new, clean & comfortable. It was more like an AirB&B than a motel room. There was a living area and a cute little kitchen with an eating area that looked out to the lake. There is a nice outdoor patio as well.

Advertises as having air conditioning but they really didn’t. There was one in the room but then they stated that they controlled the room temperature not you. If you pay for a room with air conditioning you should be able to control your own room temperature. The quality of the mattress and pillows were not the best and could use an upgrade.

We had a beautiful view of the lake from our room with a deck just out our door. There is a walking path just behind the property. I liked that the lights had dimmer switches.

The bed was very soft so we had sore backs. The room was very small, but we didn't mind that. The floor was swept, but not as clean as we like. The wifi was poor. You have to borrow a hair dryer from the office. The only mirror was a round one over the bathroom sink.

If we would have been staying in the building as pictured above i think it we would have enjoyed it.

We were put in a building that was not pictured as above. It looked to be an apartment converted to airbnb. Someone lived there. Our bedding had pee or another kind of stain on it and there was black long hair on our sheets. We asked to have clean and they did. We were thinking we were seeing the water instead it was a mural on the wall. When we asked if we could get partial reimbursement we were told no because we got a good value on booking.com and they were not responsible since we booked through them. Very frustrating when you see the photos of the place n then get an apartment looking complex. We did call them and talked to the caretakers when they came to change the sheets. We were small business owners and this place is owned by a family and i normally never write a review unless it’s positive but we feel asking a refund of half was fair. Personally if i had stains on my bedding and hair and moved people to another location i would have done something. Again, i feel if we would have been put in the building as the pictures show we might of had a better experience. We had a wonderful vacation but this hotel disappointed us. I am more for people taking responsibility but we heard you booked through booking.com n it is their problem. We were told that’s what happens when you book through them.
