The place could do with a major revamp

Back and side of hotel need cleaning up and took three times of asking for the work to be done

The property was old and needed repairing and updating in all areas. The room did not have adequate or working facilities.

Overall we had a lovely stay and would come back again if there was more parking

The property looks like it is in the process of being done up. That said our room was all new the carpets beds bathroom curtains were all lovely. Bit of a language barrier asking the house cleaning men for stuff. The balcony was lovely and big. Nice to sit and watch the sea. Will be returning

We had number of issues when arriving at the hotel but Khalid and his two colleagues were very helpful in resolving them.

The property was very clean. Staff spoke very little English, was a bit noisy from other people staying. Kettle was far from a plug and if you wanted a hot drink then you would have to boil it on the floor at the other side of the room

The room was basic,light on wall was taped up.very noisy at night and early mornings.shower and taps not working.needed a fan of some sort.

Wasn’t happy - it said we should have checked in by 3pm - ended up being 4pm It’s not good when you have 2 children who wanted to rest after a long journey Also the shower was cold until we was shown how it worked

This should not be on the hotels.com website. The hotel should be closed down. Diety nappy in what we were told was a car park, broken furniture at the rear of the building, the reception area was completely bare of furniture and smelt of poo. We walked in and walked out again. Distusting. We didnt stay there. I want my money back. It looked like an abandoned building.

My room was very basic full of flies not very clean didn’t enjoy my stay

Sadly the management have not read the previous reviews nor chosen to act on them. The staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful but were not able to pre empt any problems with the hotel. They seemed to be busy on phones when they were present. The dead plants in pots and dirty windows outside the entrance were off putting as was the stale air in the entrance. this could all be fixed in an hour. The furniture was as shown in the photos but dirtier, There are two huge charity furniture shops in weston selling cleaner, nicer chairs. No one was on duty at check-in time (3pm) and when the receptionist returned fron shopping our room was not ready. The room itself was clean and had quite nice wall paper, the toilet, and sink were new. Sadly the shower was not and only ran to scalding water on our first night, once that was 'fixed' the water was cold. There was one single plug in the room for the TV so we had to use the supplied extension lead for the kettle. No room bedside shelves . Only 1 chair. No shelves in the ensuite, 5 mini shampoos, no soap!The list goes on and on. I think the hotel is being improved but i am sure the staff could be expected to clean and dispose of the rubbish outside- the day we left the area was strewn with nappies. If we hadn't paid in advance we would have walked out. Such a shame but no one should expect anything other than the worst sort of hostel accommodation.

Beautiful sea view from our shared balcony which really could of done with a clean. Staff were lovely and could not do enough. They let us check in early. We had the the quad family room. Very quite and with free parking on site.

Hotel has a very unsettling vibe with unprofessional staff. Everything feels poorly organised and more like a stay at a strangers house than a hotel. Lots of shouting and running around in hallways. Room quality is terrible. Dirty, old and very uncomfortable. No plugs in rooms despite a tv hanging from the wall, with nowhere to plug it in? The lock on the door didn’t work well and the feeling of being unsafe at the hotel meant I chose to check out and leave.

I dont think ive ever stayed anywhere quite like this! The reception area is revolting, check in was weird, they are cash or bank transfer only which is suspicious. The bank transfer account was a personal bank account not a business bank account which screams tax evasion. The room next to ours was a dining room with just junk everywhere. Room was basic, not the cleanest carpet. Beds were fine, location was questionable. Shower nice and fine. Paper thin walls and lots of windows with no curtains meant you couldnt make it very dark.

Check in was good in fact - young bloke at reception even carried a bag up to my room, which was much appreciated. The staff I've seen here have been mostly friendly and polite. But the room, while clean, is rubbish! Bedside light doesn't work at all (mounted on the wall behind the bed); only ONE electricity socket in the whole room, so can't watch TV and charge my phone etc.; TV only works on internet streaming, which is VERY laggy, so the TV keeps stopping and starting; internet very slow; NO phone signal at all in the room; towel, folded and on top of the bed, was DAMP; bed noisy (not yet tried to sleep in it); bunch of people sitting in the area at the front of the place when I arrived at 5.30pm drinking, noisy, and still noisy late, window would not close, leaving a gap at the top, so the noise and cold gets into the room, and the window rattled annoyingly in the wind. I won't be back.

Was a hostel for people with no homes , not welcoming staff what do ever Had to listen do some nasty woman having sex all night and doors opening and closing all night long

This place is disgusting

Sea view was spectacular. Recently decorated and very clean. We were on the third floor and the lift was not working. My 79 year old husband struggled with this. When i asked about breakfast, I was informed that they were serving breakfast next week.

The room itself was ok no plug sockets just the one no tv Ariel so no use of tv even if we wanted to we couldn’t watch it. We went to chill and couldn’t even do that comfortably other guests kept us awake all night no one to complain too the hotel is ram down furniture with holes in wouldn’t be back rather sleep in the park !!

On both days . No hot water. And shower was useless and dribbled out of hand set The room had one socket. To run TV and everything else . The stand in manager . Who didn't speak English was of no help . Pictures are not as what you see.

Simple room, dated furniture improved by paint - but is ok. .

I booked a 1 night stay at £45 it wasn't with the money i paid for the room with a shared toilet and bathroom their was no lock on the toilet door i did not bother with the bathroom the TV did not work power was on all i got was cable crab which you gave to pay for their was no sink plug for the Bason in my room and the paint work was awful also there was aggressive behaviour outside the hotel someone having ago at someone awful behaviour also the chap did not email me the security number for the front door to enter out and come back in etc so i did not enjoy my 1 night stay at the savoy hotel in weston super mare
