Nothing

Completely inadequate heating, I was so cold that I left after three nights of a five night stay. Room described as luxury, it certainly wasn’t No WiFi in bedroom, only in bar when it was open. Hot water supply unpredictable. When bar shut had to leave building by fire escape. Only one towel provided, no hand towel or bath mat. One midget soap bar provided, no other toiletries. Dreadful traffic noise all night long on weekday night. My feedback has apparently been forwarded to the owners by the booking agents but I have not had the courtesy of a response.

They weren't expecting us when we arrived as hadn't been told we were arriving Above a pub so expected noise - 21st birthday party on Friday night so noisier than usual but we ignored it - then fire alarm was set off at midnight so we got out of bed - turned off before we got down stairs so obviously accidentally set off! Couldn't have breakfast one day as no chef We had day on peaks and one of us had a luke warm shower at 5pm before dinner - other one couldn't shower as hot water had run out! Little things like the bathroom floor hadn't been swept - no spoons for stirring drinks, no spare loo roll Just didn't feel worth money spent - zero attention to detail or even asking us if all OK. Hospitality bit lacking.

Better than it used to be

Nothing special and very expensive Lots to pick fault at - dusty,dry coffee jar,lack of staff about,no breakfast in cost, the list continues - you would probably ignore the faults if it were cheaper - at this cost you expect a lot and it does not deliver
