We gathered family in southwest Michigan for a convenient and easy-to-get to place from all originating destinations. Drew was fantastic to work with - extremely helpful and responsive. The property was in a very convenient location - with some nice "local" beaches within less than 2 miles up or down the coast and St. Joe only about 20 min away. The cottages themselves are a little dated, and if renting out all 4 cottages, it's important to note that there is no inside space big enough to hold the whole group - for a meal or just for hang out time or games. The back patio and the deck are both very nice - each better at different times of the day depending on the heat of the sun. It was unseasonably warm in Michigan when we were there, but the units each have air conditioning that work quite well in the room in which they are set. This helped a lot. The biggest challenge was that the night it rained, each cabin had to call it an "early" night, as there was not a place we could all conveniently gather. As long as groups are ok separating in a similar weather event, this place can accommodate. One other note - the room with the 4 twin beds is upstairs, with VERY slanted ceilings. This is fine for littles, but for our 20 something year old kids, they had to be very careful not to knock themselves out.

We had a wonderful stay at this multi family unit. Four separate units, each providing everything necessary for a comfortable stay. These are older units which have a shabby chic feel. The large outdoor space was perfect for the kids wiffle ball games, plus fun yard games provided. A beautiful deck where we grilled our dinners, and a huge patio in the back where we had fires every night. A beautiful beach just a two mile drive, restaurants, wineries and breweries within a 15 minute drive. The only reason for the 3 rating was a strong cat urine smell in the kitchen of the larger unit, low shower pressure in the separate unit and ac issues in one of the units. Luckily, we had great weather without any extreme heat. I did make the property owner aware of these. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

This property is as advertised. The best part is having 4 different full cabins for a retreat from the larger group if needed.
