the room i had booked had a leak, so they gave me a better room at no charge.

there were life jackets, kayaks and bicycles you can use included with the accommodations.

Emplacement de l’hôtel idéal avec une vue en surplomb sur la lagune et l’enceinte Esmeralda…pour 2 bungalow seulement. L’accès à la lagune est idéal avec les pontons et les tables. Les kayaks à disposition sont très pratiques.

Le propriétaire laisse entendre que chaque bungalow à vue sur la lagune ce qui n’est pas du tout la réalité. Seuls 2 bungalow ont vue direct sur la lagune. Les autres sont en retrait et perpendiculaires à la lagunes avec vue les une sur les autres. Il a avoué avoir volontairement induit en erreurs les clients ce qui est inacceptable. De plus se dégageait une forte odeur d’excréments sur le site de l’hôtel.

LA UBICACION es muy buena, tiene una hermosa vista a la laguna. Me pareció muy buen lugar para pasar el fin de semana, limpio, cómodas las cabañas. Volvería.

J’ai loué un bungalow avec vue sur le lagon, j’ai été hébergé dans le dernier bungalow qui littéralement sur la route. Bruit de voiture, camion et autre. Très décevant alors que d’autres sont restés libres plus proche du lagon.

The best thing about this hotel is the incredible view and access to the lagoon. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and it was nice to be able to use the bikes and kayaks.

I wish I had read previous reviews as the description is very misleading. All the rooms say the same thing with the same photos but are vastly different. On the first night we were put in a weird room (not cabin) on the main footpath of the hotel with rubbish blinds that didn't really close so absolutely no privacy (we were literally hanging towels and clothes up to block the windows). There was no WiFi in the room which made having a TV pointless. Not a big deal if you know in advance. There was also a bit of a ant infestation in that room. We spoke to staff who did agree to move us to a cabin the following day and once we moved we were much happier, but it still wasn't the "lake view" we paid for. Only two of the cabins have the view. It also smelled pretty terrible at certain times of day. There were 4 deck chairs by the lagoon but only 2 of them had cushions (for one day - they were then removed) so if you wanted to sit by the lagoon it was on a rock hard chair. There wasn't enough seating for the number of people staying at the hotel. This hotel has so much potential but feels a bit like management are a bit lazy and/or uninterested.

A lovely little cabin directly on the waterfront. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable with fun amenities like a personal coffee maker. Price includes some watersports and bike rentals - we rode in to the main center in around 15 minutes.

La vue sur la lagune est magnifique, le petit ponton pour se poser parfait, après avoir fait 4h de route accueil avec limonade rafraîchissante . Le personnel au top qui saura répondre à toutes vos demandes 🥰😁

Location was good for us. Far enough from the busy center but close enough to to bike or short taxi ride.

Internet was not dependable. I reserved kayaks and was confirmed by property only to be told to come back later because someone was using them.

everything was fantastic. Maybe, the only thing was the natural lake fountain they have just next to the hotel port: it’s unique in the Cenote and lots of boats come to see it

The lake front and the room views were just incredible. Rooms are small but very modern.

There were a lot of big family’s/groups staying at the property as there is one big suite. Each group treated the property as their own private resort with no regard for other guests. They would blast loud music, take over the entire seating space and leave trash. This occurred over the entirety of our stay with multiple different groups causing this disturbance. Definitely made our stay a little uncomfortabl and while this is not the hotels fault directly they could’ve done more to regulate this.

Location, nice view of the lagoon. Free use of kayaks. One source of water to lagoon is she next to hotel. Nice but that means all boats pass just in front so it's difficult to swim. Nevertheless, one van swim further to a nice spot. Overall we had a great stay.

There is noise as cabins are close to a road, the cabins can get warm as they are made of good, beds not too comfortable. The booking of kayaks is strange, some guest book and they don't use them when asking the receptionist she said she cannot give them to anyone else. So at the end no one can use. I suggest to give 15 min discretionary time. The room is small if you have a child.

Beautiful location, interesting and quite nice accommodations (individual cabins). Free parking. Quiet neighborhood.

Absolutely stunning view and private section down by the lake. Loved the bikes, paddle and kayaks to rent for free. 30-40 minute walk into the main town but very quick on the bike, and there are other restaurants closer

Great view and the Palapa on the water at night has an amazing view of the stars. The AC in our room didn't work that well so they switched our room for us and it was great.

Best accomodation in Bacalar! We actually came to this place as the first guests ever since it has just opened. It’s perfectly located only 3 minutes away from the center of the town (by car). The cabins are new and big and have AC, a comfortable bed and a fridge. Shower has warm water and lots of space. You can use the Kayak or a SUP to explore the Lagoon or get the Bicycle to ride to town. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. And the view is just amazing. Jonathan did make us feel like home. Can’t wait to come back!!
