Friendly staff Reasonably priced drinks food 

Very steep stairs (but it is a old building), noisy toilet system, no towels so couldn’t have a shower, didn’t cater for someone with dietary needs, the breakfast that was included in price was a Continental style breakfast, that meant that there was nothing for me to eat in the morning, was a little hot at night even though it wasn’t a hot day, no fan to cool down.

Rooms are lovely, en suite, bed was comfortable and the view from the window was lovely. Great little quiet area to relax with Daventry and other areas near by

Nothing, it’s absolutely lovely, the village regulars to the pub are chatty and welcoming, the hosts…Megan and Zach are amazing

Beautiful large spacious room. Very clean

Oh my goodness. The very very steep stairs. No hairdryer. Breakfast - no teaspoons or desert spoons for the cereal. No water for the kettle. Had to enter the kitchen to get water.

The evening meal

Breakfast was very poor, only toast and cereals and poorly presented

Friendly cooperative staff, pleasant room with a nice country view. Clean and comfortable.

Lovely country pub with newly refurbished rooms. Great staff and food and good walks directly from there.

Cold shower

Breakfast basic due to we assume inn has just been taken over and chef unwell. But it’s in a lovely scenic spot . We can see work in progress. Our meals very tasty

Stairs to room very steep with no rail. Some people would be put off by this. Had to ask for a hairdryer and no mirror in bedroom.
