Excellent venue and only 10/15 minutes from Derby city centre

We stayed in the Kedelston room which was a lovely cosy room tastefully decorated and had all the extras that maybe required. Iron, ironing board, hair dryer, toiletries and sewing kit.
The bar offered a cocktail menu along the usual drinks you would expect.
We dined in the restaurant which had a nice atmosphere. The food was good quality and tasty and reasonably priced.
All in all we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this place to others.

We have a lovely stay at the Kedleston house while attending a wedding near by. Room was nicely spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was cooked on order and the portions were quite generous. Ample parking on the way.
To the usual old country home style the rooms were heated quite warm, which created a nice cosy environment against the british autumn weather outside. However for some it might make it a bit too warm to sleep well.
The house is also surprisingly close to a road, which if your room was on the road side and you are a light sleeper, could cause some issues.
We're looking to come back again in the future to visit Kedleston hall, which is easily accessible just across the road.

The overall hotel was very good we had a fantastic lake view room and the quality of the food was excellent.
The hotel is extremely dog friendly whilst still maintaining a dog free restaurant.

We only wished we had more days at Kedleston Country House to enjoy staying in this beautiful atmospheric house and the stunning countryside and all else that Derby has to offer. I liked having fresh milk in the room and breakfast was simply outstanding. We had the warmest of welcomes which made our short stay feel like home from home.

There was a very loud party that took place at the hotel for the one night we stayed, we were only told the day before because the staff called to say that there are not serving food.
I would have liked more warning so I could make different arrangements. The music was very loud until midnight. Very disapppinted

My wife and I attended a funeral at Allestree Crematorium. The post funeral refreshments for those attending were provided by The Kedleston Country House. These were excellent in both quality and quantity.
As we had traveled a distance we opted to stay on overnight at the Hotel.. A good decision. We had a nice warm room and a superb breakfast.

went in our 1957 Sunbeam 90 to attend "Pims and rims" event. Very easy, secure, and accessible parking. V good evening meal at reasonable price and v good breakfast. Good room.
