Jay and Dawn were great hosts. This house has everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Paddle boat and paddle boards were so much fun. Expansive decks provide breathtaking views. Firepit was fun at night. Great location on the lake. We will be back.

The view from this house is so gorgeous! It's in a quiet area a short ways away from a great little park with swings, a playground, sand area and more. We really enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boat provided, though unfortunately the weather was dreary for most of our stay. The home was comfortable and well appointed. A few tiny recommendations: a smaller pair of tongs for cooking in the kitchen (not grill tongs or salad tongs), a grill mat since the grill grates are rusty, and a second (more powerful) hair dryer so there's one in each bathroom. There is so much deck space! Two large decks with tons of seating options plus chairs on the dock below. There are two bedrooms upstairs with a queen bed that share a bathroom. The last queen bedroom (only one with a view) is downstairs along with the dark kid's room with bunk bed and second bathroom. There's also a living room on the lower floor which is nice to have two hangout spots (no TV). It might be helpful to note that you can hear footsteps, dishwasher, and toilets flushing quite distinctly downstairs. We turned the box fan on high so it drowned out the sound and were fine. The owners house is right next door and we appreciated their friendliness and helpfulness when needed. We were quite comfortable here and would love to come back when the weather is super warm so we could truly enjoy all the lake has to offer! Thanks so much for hosting our family getaway.

The only thing that surpassed the beauty, comfort and wonderful view of the house was the hospitality of the hosts, Jay and Dawn. Every amenity we needed was already at the house and any help/ questions we had they were very available and kind. We had a large group and the house accommodated us all comfortably. From our youngest in the group at 17 to the oldest at 82, each and every one of us had the best time. We will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you, Jay and Dawn!!

It was a nice getaway with a great quiet location. We did have an issue on the property while there and the hosts were very accommodating and quickly responsive. Beautiful view!

The lake house was just as lovely as the first time. Owners are lovely to talk with, the amenities were perfect. Wonderful weekend!

This is a beautiful home in a great location. We all came in from 4 different states for a long weekend. The hosts Dawn & Jay were amazing, really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We can't wait to go back again!

My family and I came here for my 50th birthday. We could not have had a better time! Jay and his wife were very accommodating and communicative. The home is located directly on the water. The location is phenomenal. The house is very clean and it has all the essentials one would need for a one week's stay. Thank you for everything! We truly appreciate it!

We had the best time staying at this property. Every detail was thought out. Dawn and her husband were so welcoming and kind and helpful. Everything was so updated and clean which is hard to find in lake properties. Beds were very comfortable. We had never stayed at that part of CDA and it was so peaceful. Short boat ride to Harrison for ice cream and the water was smooth to surf and tube. Location was amazing, gps took us right to the house easy to find. Really nice having access to 3 parking spots. The dock was great and a cute yard for the kids to play and fish. Fireworks on Sunday night just made the trip that much more magical. I would have given it 6 stars if I could. We can’t wait to come back!

Dawn was amazing and the place was great. It was the best experience I have ever had renting a place.

This lake house is amazing! It was easy to find (GPS worked, and owners provided great directions too) and even though it's only steps from the lake, there was great parking and easy access to unload. The house was super clean, comfy, and we had everything we needed to cook and have fun. They even had s'more skewers to use around the firepit! The hosts were super helpful and accessible during our visit. We will surely stay again!

Excellent property exactly as pictured and described. Owners were pleasant and easy to communicate with and the property was exactly what we were expecting. Both decks were amazing, the dock was perfectly located and exceptionally maintained, and the small patch of private waterfront was excellent for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. Also worth nothing that the sunrises and sunsets were absolutely amazing. The only problem you will have is determining if you want to view them from the dock or one of the two decks!

The beach house was exactly as advertised with a perfect location and wonderfully equipped; from water adventure and recreational equipment, to hand soap, extra refrigerator, spices and kitchen supplies, we had all that we needed and more. Griddle for warming tortillas-check, pan for sautéing shrimp-check, blender for milkshakes-check, pitcher for fresh flowers-check. Rent this home if you’re interested in kayaking a beautiful lake, having your 1st cup of coffee on one of two breathtaking view patios, or content listening to wood crackling in the fire as you watch shooting stars. We have stayed in dozens of VRBOS and this Cave Bay delight deserves recognition for “Attention to Detail.” We are already dreaming of coming back for a tranquil fall getaway (and we live 6 hours away).

This home was everything we had hoped for. We had a great time enjoying the lake and everything it had to offer. The owner's were great to communicate with, and the home was very comfortable. We look forward to visiting again soon!
