AC did not work. Wet hallway carpet. Water standing on back patio. Rickety dining chairs. All older men in our group. Fishing at nearby lakes. Overall it was a nice place good location. Hot tub was great. Very clean. Nice amenities.

Amy has made her childhood home into the perfect cozy getaway. The house was clean, smelled amazing, and beds were so comfy! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The BBQ place right next door was both convenient and delicious!

The property is beautifully located within a short drive to Tyler. Spacious living dining and kitchen areas, with several outdoor areas too. Nice yard enclosed on three sides, great for children to play. Walking distance to a highly rated BBQ place. Will definitely book again next time! Thanks!!

We enjoyed our time at the house! Plenty of room for our family, & the hot tub was a big hit. We also had fun cooking out on the grill in the evening, & we made sure & picked up lunch from the barbecue spot next door. Terrific communication from the host as well. Highly recommend!

It’s cozy but enough for big family

My husband and I had a great stay! Bed was comfy, house had so much room and everything we needed was at the house. I loved the huge front porch and screened back porch. Can't wait to come back! Thanks!

This is the third time my family and I stay in this home. We enjoy the country feel and how spacious the home is. My five year-old enjoys the backyard and my elderly father enjoys walking the property line to see the horses and longhorns next door. My mom has to eat the bbq from Cooksy’s each time which is conveniently a few steps from the house. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The house was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was the water pressure, or lack of. It was a little more than a trickle out of the shower heads as well as the kitchen sink.

Upon arrival , front door in the end was unlocked , however we could not get in because front door sticks very badly , luckily the back door was completely left open !!! It's a old house and some things are understandable, I don't want to be completely negative , however walking into the completely open back door we were overwhelmed with the extremely strong Oder from over a dozen plug in air fresheners !!!! We pulled them all out and placed outside . Then after unpacking we discovered unfinished laundry in washer and dryer , were not sure if it even belonged at that home . Then the carpet ..... VRBOs need to either replace all carpet or at least clean it from time to time , looks like a frat party had taken place there . In the end my wife could not stay there due to strong Oder , my grand sons tried to play in outdoor play house , and I had to get them out of it when it started to sway and looked like it would fall over . We needed a place on short notice , it worked because we needed to take our dogs . We will however not stay here again .

This place was so perfect for us. My wife and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary here. The house had an amazing vintage charm. Great updated kitchen. Super comfortable living room furniture. Master bed was great and the recliners in the room are perfect for Bible reading and prayer together. Back patio is too cute with a great hot tub set up. Shelly was an awesome host / communicator. Let me know in advance hot tub wasn’t heating right and a repairman had been called out. When he failed to make in in time they discounted the price for the inconvenience. Then a piece of porch furniture broke and when I tried to make it right she graciously said not to worry about it. So much kindness. So much peace. Have already recommended this house to 3 groups for different things. Just cannot emphasis the peace on this place. May God continue to bless this property, the owner, and the managers.

Great place with the perfect amount of space. I LOVE all the seating they provided in the home. We had a wonderful. Will definitely stay here again!!

House was perfect for my 80 year mother and my 2 granddaughters. They were able to play outside on the swings which they loved. It was centrally located to all the different areas we had to go. I appreciate the promptness of the owner when I needed to contact her. It was a quiet area to to stay.

This is the second time my family and I stay at this property. We are very comfortable and satisfied with everything that is provided. If feels like home away from home.

Nice home by the lake. Wonderful for our brief family getaway. We had everything we needed. My favorite place was the large back porch and peaceful country views. The hosts were very accommodating even offering to bring over a new tv for the master bedroom since it wasn’t working but respected our privacy when we mentioned we were just tired from the journey and wished to be left alone. If you like peace and privacy in a beautiful home, this is the spot!

The house really felt like a home. It was wonderful to spend time with family. The kitchen was really well stocked for all our cooking needs and the beds were super comfy.

The house was a perfect size for our family. My parents, my daughter, son-in-law, infant grandson, my 5 years-old, my husband, and I had plenty of room. We enjoyed eating together as a family at the spacious dining table. We all had room to cuddle up in the living room to watch a movie. The BBQ next door was delicious and perfect for the evening we arrived and not in the mood to cook nor drive anywhere to eat. The house had everything a big family needed to enjoy our stay and have an intimate celebration for my mother's 70th birthday. I'll always remember this home because it is where I got to meet and hold my one month old grandson for the first time. Thank you for allowing us to build memories in your home!

Everything was great. Home was cozy and had everything we needed. Loved being out in the country but plenty close to Tyler. We attended a tennis tournament, baseball tournament and also went to the Rose city music festival. Would definitely stay here again. Host was very accommodating to anything we needed help with.

This place was so cute! We loved the hot tub and the beds the best. The kitchen had absolutely everything needed. The owners even supplies books, games, and puzzles. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Perfect location for the plans we had. Close to Lake Tyler and lots of things to do in other areas around Tyler. The house was awesome. Plenty of room for 2 people or a whole family. Big kitchen and Den with everything you need if you just want to hang out there. Easy check in and check out. We will stay there again definitely and recommend it to anyone going to the Tyler , Texas area.
