Since the booking.com photos were taken black mould has taken over the kitchen and living room area of the house. See photos below. Black mould is a serious health hazard. Leaving electrics covered by a plastic bag in the same area as the damp and the mould is a fire risk. We had booked the house so that we could attend a funeral for a family member. My elderly father was with us, such was the incredibly strong smell of damp that permeated all of the rooms, that we decided to leave and stay in a hotel nearby. In addition 1) the key box falls off into your hands when opened because the hinge has broken 2) there is no TV, and judging by past reviews this has been case for a few months, and is not a recent event: as claimed by the owner 3) the owner did not have the house available for our 3pm check in and we had to wait a further 1.5 hours to be allowed into the property/ 4) we have asked to be reimbursed for the cost of staying at the house 5) BE AWARE THAT BLACK MOULD IS VERY DANGEROUS

No TV in living room

The location was close enough to the area we went to. Rooms were excellent and nice welcome touch. Kept informed and sorry that we didn't occupy the house when we thought we would. Thanks for being helpful and really understanding. Excellent job.
