Everything is perfect about this place. From native architectural design to peaceful location. It's close to the beach and I didn't have any difficulty with anything. I had a comfortable stay, would love to visit and stay here for longer.

Very charming hostel in an old colonial style building. Rooms are spacious and very clean. There is also a common room and a nice garden. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They arranged a fabulous backwater canoe tour with local food. Would book it again anytime.

Only little demerit was that they accept no card payment so far (December 2023), only cash or payment via UPI.

I had a great experience here. It’s such an amazing, old, beautiful property and fascinating to explore the various rooms you can relax in. The staff and owners are lovely and I felt very welcomed from the first minute I arrived. They will also go out of their way to help you out with various traveller tasks.

The AC broke during the night but it couldn’t be helped and the team sorted it first thing next morning.

It is a quaint mansion in a quiet residential area. The staff were very helpful and made my stay very wonderful. I would recommend it to everyone.

The entire stay was amazing. The hotel is conveniently situated near Alappy Beach, which is one of Kerala's most stunning beaches. The local community around the property was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made our outdoor experience even better. The staff was exceptionally attentive, offering valuable assistance as we settled in. I am truly amazed by the property's charm and ambiance, being a meticulously preserved old English house. I cannot wait to come here again with more of my friends and experience more of this wonderful property and place.

There's nothing in particular not to like about

The hostel is a very premium place. It is extremely spacious and you will never run out of things to do here. The hosts are very friendly and I got to meet amazing travelers here. The food and the history of the beautiful property comes highly recommended.
