La habitación que tuvimos estaba excelente, el tamaño y también tenía cocina equipada..

Hay parte del personal que no son tan amables.. no tuvimos cable en la estadía, lo reportamos y no hicieron nada por resolver.. La experiencia del desayuno fue terrible.. las mesas estaban a la intemperie y ese día estaba lloviendo.. El desayuno venia mezclado la fruta incluso con los frijoles y era un desayuno pequeño

Las instalaciones son buenas, pero es extraño que le digan al ingresar q no puede usar la piscina. Que debe ser la piscina q queda cruzando la calle.

El tema de la piscina, y que todo era como con amenazas de ser cobrado extra... como es q no tienen toallas para el mar o la piscina... eso es extraño.

El WiFi de la cabaña era sumamente débil y por la ubicación no entraban mis datos. Entonces quedaba relativamente incomunicado.

Staff The staff was very unapologetic about all of my problems. They did nothing to help us. The security guards on the property are like bullies. They follow you around everywhere you go and "intimidate" you with their presence. At the time of check out (10:00 AM), there was no one working in reception. I couldn't even properly check out. I had to leave my keys with one of the rude guards. That is horrible customer service. Facilities The website lists a swimming pool as an included facility. But when we got there we were informed that to use the pool it is an extra charge. We were also told that we are not able to use personal coolers on the property, which was not listed on the website. Cleanliness There was trash and litter all over the beach and the hotel grounds. It was disgusting. Comfort Flat pillows, beds and mattresses so old that my back hurt, couldn't adjust the A/C and it was freezing cold all night. The beds had paper thin sheets that didn't keep us warm. Value for Money Honduras Shores Plantations is one of the most expensive hotels in all of Tela and it is one of the worst. There was no value for my money. Location Honduras Shores Plantations is located in a dangerous neighborhood of San Juan. One morning while we were driving out of the neighborhood and into town, we were stopped by the locals. They had made a "make shift" road block, forced our car to stop and made us pay a cash bribe before they would allow us to continue. I had my two daughters with me and this is unacceptable. I understand it is Honduras, but that was a dangerous situation for us to be in. How comfy were the beds? The beds were horrible. My back still hurts. How quiet was your room? Not quiet at all. On Saturday night, after 10:00 PM, there were multiple ATV's, Jeeps, and "side by side" vehicles on the beach, shining their headlights directly into my room and driving around all over the propery with loud exhaust and music playing. I complained to the reception and the guards about the noise and they did nothing to help me. They didn't even speak. They just looked at me while I told them about my problem. Also, the glass on my balcony windows was broken. I will attach pictures.

Se supone que el desayuno empieza a servirse a las 7am, pero el personal del restaurante no había llegado a esa hora. No pudimos comer. Adicional, no había nadie en recepción para hacer el check-out.

Los guardias de seguridad mataron a un perro callejero que no presentaba ningún daño para los demás. Lo hicieron enfrente de los huéspedes.

Las opciones de comida en el restaurante son muy básicas. No tienen endulzantes para diabéticos ni gaseosa sin azúcar
