Omg amazing location right next to the most perfect beach! A couple of restaurants right on the beach just a short walk away. Hostel is basic but sweet and homely. It’s clean with curtains and lockers. Friendly staff volunteering and welcoming atmosphere. Free water.

Not very sound proof. It didn't bother me but I wouldn’t suggest if you’re a light sleeper. It’s the other side of Koh Samui from the party island so not the place to go if that’s what you’re looking for.

This hostel is more of a home than a casual place to stay. The family behind the business are very wonderful people, and go above and beyond to make your stay is as comfortable as possible. This is the best hostel I've been able to stay at.

I had such an amazing time at aforetime house, Sam the owner is so lovely and welcoming Such great value for money and so close to the beach, it’s literally on the doorstep I felt so at home the whole of my stay and they were so accommodating when my organisation skills were lacking to help me stay more nights! There were great events at the hostel, free beach BBQs and cocktail nights, they also arranged boat trips around the islands that were so much cheaper than others on offer

The hostel was a cute, quaint place next to the beachfront. The hostel owner, I believe his name was Oscar was excellent, really went out of his way for you, including taking you to the piers/airports etc for a cheaper price. The facilities were great, showers with soap & shampoo, clean toilets. They also had a snack cupboard which you were able to enter 24/7 (just pop some money in the box for the snacks). Fridge, kettle, microwave etc all free to use - you can tell this hostel really put a lot of effort into supporting their customers. Thank you :)

The location of the hostel is a bit far out from everything, there aren’t any shops nearby, there is, however, an incredible restaurant about 6/7mins walk away on the beach.

Situated right next to the beach with sunset view, on a peaceful street with restaurant and bar that also rents scooters. There are some other restaurants nearby. Owner is very attentive and makes sure to meet you personally at checkin and checkout, and is mostly present during the day for any requests. Bunks have courtains for privacy. Rooms are airconditioned during nighttime. Great hangout area in the first floor with balcony. Small kitchen with sink, cutlery, water heater for coffee or noodles. Washing machine available. Very comfortable stay by all means.

A bit remore if you don't have a scooter, however, this makes the place also very peaceful.

His kindness and genuine hospitality made our stay exceptional. The hostel itself exudes freshness, and the beds were remarkably comfortable – a perfect combination for a good night's sleep. Sam's dedication to ensuring our comfort and enjoyment was evident throughout our stay, and I am immensely grateful for the positive impact he had on our overall experience. In summary, I highly recommend this hostel, not just for its clean and cozy ambiance but also for the exceptional host, Sam, who goes above and beyond to make guests feel like family. It was such a nice stay! Sam & his staff is super friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location is good: very quite, near the beach & not touristy. There is a restaurant & kiosk next to the hostel where you also can rent scooter. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Die Lage ist relativ weit außerhalb, deshalb aber auch weniger Touris und man hat den Strand für sich alleine

Sam, the owner, is so friendly and helpful! The hostel is clean, comfortable and in a lovely peaceful location. You are less than a minute's walk away from the beach, as well as being opposite a little shop and restaurant. There are plenty of other gorgeous beaches nearby as well, I have stayed in over 20 hostels and this one is up there with my absolute favourites! You can order breakfast in the morning, which is very affordably priced, and you can enjoy it on the balcony. They have kayaks and SUPs available for hire, as well as scooters/ mopeds - the latter I highly recommend for at least a day so that you can explore the island. You can also organise for Sam to pick you up from the jetty and drop you off as well, which is a big help and is much more reasonable than getting a taxi. Sam's hospitality makes this place special, I wish I could have stayed longer!

Great staff, Sam is a super lovely guy and he was always trying his best to make sure our stay was as good as possible. Very quiet and peaceful place 50 meters from the sea, with kayak, paddleboard and bike hire on the doorstep as well as a little restaurant. Good WiFi and AC with a very comfortable bed.

Sam the owner and his wife were so kind and amazing! Always helped with driving us or calling and booking things and lovely to talk to. The hostel is small, has nice hang out areas and is like 20 m away from the ocean. It's located in a more rural area with not that many tourists which I loved!! But you do kind of have to rent a scooter to be able to go somewhere. 250 baht/day for renting and you can do it from the hostel.

You could easily hear people through the thin walls so I didn't sleep the best which was kinda though having to feel that way for 6 days in a row..
