It looked clean upon entering. However upon getting settled we found leftover food in a bedroom drawer, and completely unorganized entertainment drawer. This seems like a little issue except the reclining couches did not work because they were all disconnected. We then had to search through this mess of a drawer, which included trash, to find the parts to connect them to the power. BEWARE if you’re looking for at least the standard of a generic hotel room to include things like coffee or more than 1-ply toilet paper, don’t book here or bring your own, as it has neither. The kitchen is well stocked with hardware for cooking but nothing else, no spices or basic pantry items, not a well stocked kitchen.The master bathroom had a major smell coming from it, the best way I can describe it was cat litter. There was no cat or anything we could find to clean or dispose of. When we contacted property management to get help first it was a round robin of questions via text. When we reached someone by phone they seemed to want to help, but then made the comment “I have not been to that property, and I am not sure how it is laid out”. This was regarding a broom to sweep under the couches as we were trying to set them up, because it was very dirty underneath them. When we asked about the bathroom being addressed they said they would send someone, and would let us know when they came. We never heard anything and as far as we can tell no one came. And just lived with the smell.

The pictures are certainly better than then the actual property…however the location is awesome and the beds were comfortable. Ran out of essentials and had zero response from property management. It’s on a busy street…so be prepared for a bit of noise.

Great location although it’s right on a corner of an intersection and traffic could be loud. We’d definitely stay here again.

The house has everything you need! Easy to get to the beach, downtown Carlsbad and surrounding locations. We would definitely stay here again!

Not only did we enjoy the spacious and clean modern house and amenities. The location was amazing! We enjoyed our quick walk down to the beach and quick access to Highway 5

Great location and adorable house. We booked this for my 40th as a quick get away and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely stay here again!

Very lovely trip. House especially the kitchen. We did not have to bring a thing. Were able to make whole dinner, turkey and ham, with all the utensils ets from the house. Bathrooms have been remodeled and lovely. Beds were nice and having a TV in the bedroom, gave you privacy if needed. Would recommend to anyone. Also we will be booking this house in the future

This place is clean and just wonderful. It is home away from home. Everything you need is there and more. Our oldest goes to UCSD, the middle to UCR, and the youngest goes to CSUSM, and it was not a far drive to visit them all. The location is prime. The house is walking distance to the beach. My husband and I enjoy surf fishing; we easily took our gear to the sand and I caught a 4 ft leopard shark from shore. Carlsbad village is only 1.4 miles away and if you like walking, it’s quite a lovely walk along the coast. Thank you, Vacasa - We loved our stay!

Wow this is the only place we have stayed that really made us Amazed. The house is super clean when we arrived especially the bathrooms. The beach is just a 5mins walk and it's amazing to spend your day since it's not crowded and clean even it's a weekend. The cold AC and the soft beds just added to the comfort. Thank You for accommodating us. We love the place. We'll definitely come back.

We loved the location, the home was nicely appointed and upgraded. The AC was cold, the hot tub was hot and when the fire pit wasn’t working they replaced super quick. Will def stay again!

Nice location and loved the jacuzzi. The house is on a corner of a busy four-way intersection which was pretty busy all throughout the day but enjoyed the front patio seating. Also, loved the easy beach access straight down the street. Would stay again!

This property was an easy stay, we'll appointed with everything o everything needs for a group, in our case a family, to stay and play at the beach. The Hottub was a perfect end to each evening.

It was very clean

Great location. There are enough issues that I do not think this rental was worth the significant cost per night. 1. The bathtub drain stop was broken. We had small children and could not bathe them. 2. The bathtub divert valve was broken so no way to use the bathtub, only a shower which is impossible for a 2 year old. 3. The bbq was broken and we could not cook dinner. 4. There was nowhere 6 people could sit to eat together inside or outside. Strange for a 4 bedroom house. 5. The bare bones nature of the house was disappointing. We could not clean counters as no cleaning supplies. There was no fitted sheet on one of the beds. We reached out to vacasa via vrbo app and via text and were ensured someone would contact us for repair but that never happened. Unless repairs are made I do not suggest this rental.
