Plenty of space for everyone and we really enjoyed the outdoor areas. The pool was a huge hit! We used it every night and some days. The pool company serviced it twice a week which was perfect. We were a very short walk from the beach and pier. Close to restaurants and bars. Great time overall, would rent again!

The entire property is run down and the outdoor spaces are so unkept they are basically unusable. The lower level bedroom is damp and musty. Internet is so slow that the TVs won’t stream. Broken furniture, poor appliances, etc. Stick with a more reputable management company.

The floor was terribly dirty and the charcoal grill should have been put in the trash. Someone had emptied it beside the grill and left it. The pool was not at all what the picture shows. There was also a LARGE mouse in the outside patio that I finally photographed on the last day and sent it to the rental place. Lastly the TV would only work an hour or 2 a day; technicians did come look at it but said the internet and Wi-Fi was just low grade and nothing could be done. It’s a great location but the property is poorly kept up.

It was our first time in Tybee Island and to start with, the weather on our first day was bad and we couldn't do anything nothing to do with our rental. The property sleeping area, kitchen and living room were god. But the amenities said heated pool and the pool was not ready to be used and the gathering area was not clean and was very messy. The pool water was very cold the next day when we try to get in. That made me feel like we were not fully expected. I called the office and the lady that answered the phone and my messages asking how to turn the pool heater was very nice and polite...until she couldn't get a response from the property manager and age didn't answer anymore or called me back. It was disappointing because our kids were looking forward to get in the pool. The little private pool was the main reason we rented the place. I hope they get better prepared for their next guests. That could make a huge difference.

Location is nice on the south end of the island, two blocks from the beach, close to restaurants, shopping, etc. House interior was clean with plenty of towels. Having the pool was nice for the kids to jump in and relax a bit. Has plenty of space with 3 queen beds, 4 bunks and all the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Also the garage space was nice to pull the car out of the sun. Air conditioning definitely worked well (which was important as it was very hot out). Having laundry was key and the kitchen had plenty of materials if you want to cook. Screen door was broken when we showed up and a they sent a repairman out early the next day on Sunday (we showed up late in the day on Saturday)The not as good - pictures with listing are at least several years old, the landscaping is overgrown and the house and pool are in need of a refresh. The backyard is not grass but turf. None of this is all that problematic for a beach cottage, but don't expect exactly what you see in the pictures. The vent in the guest bath ceiling had mold around it. Only came with 2 rolls of toilet paper and we had to call and request more. The WiFi was not good - if you need to connect for any work activity, better have your own hotspot. WiFi also was very spotty trying to use the TV to watch Netflix or other apps on the Roku TV when we sat down to relax at the end of the night. Overall, a positive experience and would recommend if you are looking for an affordable beach pad that gives you the basics that could use some TLC. Just temper your expectations a bit based on the photos.

We had a wonderful time at Sunrise Cottage! The house was spacious and very near the beach. Lots of space for parking. Great private pool! We will be back again!

We got to the property and everything was great. The next day we had a family emergency and had to leave. Our nephew was killed in a tragic accident. We contacted the owners of the property to let them know what happened but would not refund our money. I understand there are policies but this was a tragic unforseen accident. This was something we never saw coming. Not sure if I will ever use them again.

Location location location! You cannot beat the location of this house. We walked everywhere- stores, restaurants, the beach is just a quick 3-5 minute walk. The house was great- the porch and pool were our favorites. Such a great house with space for everyone to hang together and plenty of space to spend time alone. It’s a beach house so there is some wear and tear but the decorating etc is perfect: The kitchen needs more pots and pans etc but there are so many great restaurants to walk to that it wasn’t an issue. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms smelled musty as if the house had been closed up for awhile and was not ready for guests. The pillow sham had make up on it. There were large stains on the carpets and rugs. Curtains didn't fit in a room upstairs. Found a roach on the bed down stairs. Definitely would not recommend this property.

Underneath the house in the sitting area there were wasp nests and the area was extremely junky and there were old broken toys and bikes piled in the corner. There were just so many things that needed attention in this house. I am not sure who the cleaning lady was but items in the house had layers of dust on them!!! The only thing that saved our stay was the pool. It was very nice.

All the cloth furniture and carpet were filthy. The entire backyard is weeds (no grass as pictured). The TV never worked because there was no roku remote. After calling we were told someone would be handling it and that never happened. We had a couple rainy days and some kids so a TV would have been nice for those occasions.There were large rips in the screens on the screen porch (kind of defeats the purpose). We were only provided one cheap, dingy bath towel and wash cloth per person. No beach towels provided. Three of the four bedroom closets were not usable due to them being filled with junk and no other place to put your luggage or clothes other than on the floor in the small bedrooms. Garage area that was turned into sitting area and walk through was filled with left over junk from previous guests I suppose. (There were a few usable items like folding beach chairs but that was about it).I have stayed in homes from VRBO on many, many occasions and have had wonderful homes as pictured and described. I have even stayed in homes in 3rd world countries that were much nicer than this home. I would recommend not renting from Lucky Savannah based on this experience.The only positives for the house would be the location and we always had hot water.

The front door handles were broken off. All the garbage bins were full. The TV controls were awkward (the controls were located in the guest bedroom closet). The rugs were stained, and unless you have a Prius, only one of the three garages will hold your car. Overall, it would be a great place for college kids, or senior trippers. Still, it was better than staying in a hotel.

The property was everything if not more than described. We enjoyed the comfortable porch during the cooler times of the day and the refreshing pool after time at the beach. The inside space was clean and neat and well-stocked. The television and all other items were in good working condition. We were surprised to find additional space under the house to hang out and also pool toys, beach chairs, etc. The location was ideal - a short walk to the beach, the Tybee Island Marine Center and pier, and restaurants and shopping. We never used our cars. We were very pleased with our choice and the service we received from the manager in answering a few questions before our stay. We highly recommend Sunrise House.

Also little repairs here and there needs to be done (e.g. mosquito net in the porch) bottom of the pool, larger table as it only seats 4 people....the room in the basement is nice but very very humid as that space is not really for a bedroom.

We had a total of 8 guests in the home and we were all comfortable. The home is a short walk of bike ride to the shops, most restaraunts, the beach and the pier. The only disappointing things for us were the issues that we had with the television working, which was promptly handled by the leasing company when I called. We were also a little disappointed in the pool size. It is pretty small pool.

We especially enjoyed the screened in porch. While the swimming pool appears small from the photos, it was perfect for the kids to play in after a busy day at the beach. The house is perfectly located to walk or bike to the beach and to various restaurants in the area. My requests for improvement are minor: the kitchen could be better equipped, a mat for the shower would be nice as it was quite slippery for our elderly parents and more hand towels would have been appreciated. None of these requests were worth bothering the rental staff for and we were otherwise very pleased with our stay and would stay here again.

Easy walk to shops, restaurants and the beach . WE loved having the pool to hang out at after a couple hours at the beach. The screened porch was wonderful in the early morning drinking coffee or late night . The only thing was when you first arrive and you walk upstairs to get into the house the porch could use a little updating. Fake plants were damage. Pieces lying on the floor in corner. It was dusty and there was to much clutter, which made us a little worried about what the inside looked like. We were pleasantly surprised when we wlaked inside the house was pretty. Clean and well decorated. We were all so happy and very comfortable. I would definitely rent this house again. Thank you
