Room was a little small but was great overall.

Was a great stay. First visit since the renovations and it was all good. We would for sure visit again.

It was fine. But terrible neighborhood. Air conditioning sounded like a freight train. Their restaurant was very nice.

Not at all what I was expecting. The area felt isolated. There was no beach. Dining options were limited. I arranged for transportation from the airport and no one showed.

This is a beautiful and clean hotel however the design of the room is not the most functional for use. There were no hooks anywhere in the bathroom to hang towels or clothes, no where in the shower to place toiletries and the light switch was also in the middle of the room and not by the door which makes for a odd experience when coming back to the room at night. There is also what appears to look like a hot tub attached to the pool which is not a hot tub but just a mini pool, the amount of people who dipped their hands in to be disappointed and confused by the cold temperature was comical. The restaurant on property was delicious and the gym was great.

We booked a room based on the photos on Expedia; they showed a brand new hotel with new rooms. When we arrived we were given a room in what looked like an old run down motel. When I showed the photos I was told that “that is the hotel across the street, same hotel but a higher price”. To which I said “what do you show pictures of that but put us in the old me? That’s false advertising”. They just shrugged and said that they are going to do some upgrades… after complaining to 3-4 people at the hotel they reluctantly moved us to a newer room across the street. Once we were moved everything was fine but having to jump through hoops to make that happen was very frustrating and unnecessary, they should have given us the room we originally booked.

Brand new gorgeous hotel. Helpful staff, absolutely beautiful outdoor and common areas with seating and a great pool area, big gym, restaurant with high end but approachable menu. Belize City is a place you come for a night passing through and this was the best experience- made it a destination- would stay again in a second.
