Our stay was met with a lobby full of adults and children for a Halloween Party. This was a special event the hotel ran. We had no idea about this when we booked our room as part of our anniversary. We were hoping for a quiet and restful stay. There were too many to enjoy the pool and hot tub and children crying and running in the hall impacted enjoying the hotel. Our room was okay the breakfast was great and enjoyed the decorations by the breakfast hostess.

We ended up not staying because of the women behind the desk, after her very rude demour from the start, ended up calling me and idiot & she kept shrugging her shoulders at me with full on attitude and then crossed her arms and said oh well not my problem. I even told her mam I think that we are not understanding each other and she continued to say no your an idiot and I'm explaining myself just fine. After trying to get a refund from hotels.Com as well as BayMount I was denied FROM THE WOMEN THAT CAUSED IT all. Not sure how that makes sense to ask the person that acted in such a manner to refund the customer that didn't end up staying because of the way she was speaking and acting. I normally never have an issue with this hotel. This women was horrible and I will never stay again. Nor use hotels. Com due to the lack of help in getting my money back for a stay that didn't happen.

The staff was so friendly, amazing pool, super clean room, and breakfast was better than most! This will be our go to hotel when in town.

Great location with plenty of places to eat and shop. Service is spot on very helpful and friendly people. Will be staying here again.

The hotel was not good. Hot tub was ice cold, bathrooms were very small and tight. They didn’t clean our room at all. The bed was very hard to sleep on, it felt like you were sleeping on a rock. Every morning when we got up our backs hurt. Would not stay there again.

Dated and dirty building. Manager and front desk personnel were rude. Drain was clogged in sink, had an odor. Door did not close tightly to room unless slammed. Cleaning staff left cart and vacuum directly outside our door, making it difficult to get luggage through doorway.

Good value for the price. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was nice as well-loved the pancake machine.

Stay was great! Had to switch hotels because our previous one had roaches and cops searching a room. Baymont in South Haven was very helpful and accommodating to our situation! Will definitely be back!

Excellent all-around choice in grand Haven, Michigan for the price. Pet friendly was a huge bonus. Pool and hot tub area was a perfect way to relax at the end of a busy day in town. I would highly recommend.

Convenient location to downtown area. Hotel showing its age, needs some updating. Very comfortable bed. Amazing breakfast, the girl working the breakfast room was fantastic. She kept all well stocked and was so pleasant.

We had a great stay! Our only complaint is that the hot tub temperature was pretty low, and would love if breakfast lasted a little longer! Otherwise was very comfortable and clean and not too far from what we wanted to do.

When we pulled back the blanket it was clear the linens had not been changed due to obvious dried blood stains. The desk never answered the phone and housekeeping was unavailable. The night staff member has to come and change all of the linens.
