Such a beautiful hotel in a great neighborhood. Easy access to everything. Outstanding customer service. Front desk to restaurant staff showed great care and they were very courteous. Great breakfast buffet! Lot of verity. Only complaint is that there are two banquet halls by the reception. When there are functions, people are blocking the main entrance (Inside/outside) smoking and chatting. It’s like getting out of time square station in NYC during the rush hour. Very inconvenient for the guests. Staff did not bother to move them away either. What ever the reason they should not block the entrance. During my three night stay they had at least two functions every day! Getting in and out of the hotel was a bit challenging at any given time! Other than that it’s a great stay!

Right near where we needed to go for meeting spot of tours and places nearby for grabbing bite to eat. Hotel was great!

The room was clean, large, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is rich in a wide variety of options. The gym at the hotel includes many machines. The hotel is in a convenient location for walking to central places in the city. A highly recommended choice.

I stayed at this hotel for quite some times and I do not want to switch to other hotels though the price is almost the most expensive one it is.

A grand dame of Bucharest hotels suffering during transition to Intercontinental. We stayed two nights in beautiful rooms but paid full price on Expedia without knowing about DOWNSTAIRS RENOVATIONS. Drop off and pickup are a mess, the bistro is closed and walled off, and the staff seem short handed. Phones are not answered promptly, the staff act rushed, room service order was wrong, and concierge hours are limited. Among other observations the view of the colonnade downstairs was ruined by some kitch cocktail tables presumably for an event, but it’s a pity to put black metal’s frames by the old marble and removed the seating. Overall the fine touches are missing, even the lobby flowers are sloppy, it does not feel like a connoisseurs’ hotel anymore.

Great hotel with friendly and professional staff but a lot of work being done on the facade and ground floor, making the rooms in certain parts of the hotel very noisy in the early morning and during the day.
