Stay was excellent except that they said they would send a receipt to my e-mail but have not done so!

Great place. Staff was fantastic and everyone was very nice. Right on the water with great views of the bridge. Easy access downtown with the shuttle provided.

Excellent hotel

The 1st few rooms they gave us were awful. Huge a/c condenser was right in front of our window. 2nd rm had a wall outside the window. Finally got a room that was nicer. No bottles of water in room or vending machines on the floor. No other restaurant except for one they had closed the other, no room service. Overall it is a nice resort but needs better desk staff. Tried several times calling with no success. Had to contact General Mgr.who was very nice when asked about extra fees that were put on our credit card.

The reason for thai rating was as soon as we’re in the room, we plugged our phone in, and wanted to iron (we’re there for a wedding), we found out there was no electricity in any outlet except the bathroom. A fuse problem. Front desk sent a technician to fix it, then it happened again. This time he taught us how to reset the fuse behind the night stand. We went for dinner and came back at 10 pm to find our room had no electricity again. Another round of electrician. He couldn’t fix it this time, told us “you can go to sleep and charge the phone in your bathroom!” No thanks. At 11 pm. we got moved from a room with a view of the water to a 1st floor room by the walk way to the pool where service staff use. No view. We heard people talking walking at all hours. We couldn’t open the curtain since it opens to a walk way and bushes. We complained they said there is nothing they could do. “ we are full”. Since we booked thru Expedia they couldn’t help us. We had to take it up with the 3rd party. We still had one more night. All they could do was comp us valet parking and resort fee which wasn’t even included in the room rate we booked and paid. They weren’t willing to help further. When you paid over $1300 for a weekend you expect something more. The property was across the water on the island so it’s walkable if you want to and you are active. It’s not ideal after a night in town and you already walked for hours. There was a shuttle but ends at 10 pm. Not worth it.
