Room was set up oddly walking into what was ultimately the bathroom. Fridge was too small to store desserts from the onsite restaurant. Club bumping from arrival til early hours of the morning was disturbing trying to sleep. That said, overall it was nice and would consider staying again albiet, quite pricey from room to dining and parking.

The hotel was clean and updated and festive. The staff was kind. Our valet was amazing and even packed up our car!

Had never stayed at a Virgin property. Liked everything. Our room was nicely laid out, and the hotel is in a great part of town, perfect for doing those things in Chicago visitors want to do. Next time in Chicago, we stay at Virgin.

Restaurant for breakfast not the best coffee terrible not on virgin standard maybe they should give the food to owner then he will understand.
Good think Chicago excellente place to eat go out side .for roof top bar is very good very friendly stuff good drink's good bar food.

The hotel is in a great location, close to transport and the river walk in downtown Chicago. Our room on the 24th floor had a great view of the skyline. The negative part was that we were charged a resort fee on arrival which was not disclosed when we made our booking. These sort of charges should be disclosed at time of booking.

Hotel was average at the best. I think the rooftop and the traffic of wild and mostly drunk people using the elevators all the time would not make this hotel as a relaxing destination. Location is great but the property needs some major upgrades and doesn’t match the price you pay for your stay- Will look for another location for my 4,5 star budget next time

This was a beautiful hotel to stay at. The rooms were clean and big, the bed was very comfy. I would definitely recommend this hotel because the location is very convenient.

Amazing stay - loved our room and everyone was very kind and supportive. We were offered free drink tickets and we also went to the rooftop for a great drink. We would definitely go back!

Overall this is a great location to stay and the rooftop is beautiful with a fun vibe. The rooms were a little bit snug but overall it was a great experience.

The property is in a great location downtown. The rooms are interesting in how they are styled. The floors were dirty and obviously not mopped (no carpets). I took off my shoes and within 5 min the bottom of my feet were full of dust and hair. There was also a dried up contact lens on the floor. The TV also would turn off on its own every time you went to the channel guide. Overall, should have been much better for the price.

Loved the experience except for the fact that the receptionist assumed we did not stay there and only were there for the nightclub. We were there to sleep after being at a festival and they make a a condescending remark about being there for the rooftop. Other than that the experience was great!

Hotel is very clean and located in a good area if you’re wanting to walk to many historical sites. The staff is nice. Nothing over extraordinary but nice. The rave about the beds isn’t quite true. But the pillows are super comfortable. I would stay here again.

Every staff member we met was very nice. We did try to check in after 3pm but our room was not ready until 430-5. We were told we would get a discount but did not receive this. We are giving 3 stars to service because housekeeping only came 2/4 time we requested it and did not leave coffee packets or water, both are which are very important. The room was wonderful. We did call and request more coffee and water to be brought to the room to have in the morning, but was told that "we do not have any more coffee packets." We would stay again due to location and the room!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating when our room wasn’t ready at check-in. The only drawback was the beds—they were not comfortable!
