We booked to stay 4 nights at the Bale for some relaxation and to play a couple of days of golf. From the minute we arrived we were treated to the most attentive service. We were helped to download an app which allowed us to communicate with staff 24/7 and they were always so prompt. They recommended restaurants at our request and booked all transport for us. The Villa itself (Villa 33) was spacious and beautiful. It had a pool, outdoor day bed, coffee machine, gorgeous bath tub with tv, outdoor and indoor shower (we only used the outdoor shower in the garden), the bed was soooo comfortable. Large TV in the main room and stereo system, AND it was so peaceful, we didn't hear another soul, only birds and frogs. We ate at Faces Restaurant and also had two breakfasts there which were delicious, would totally recommend. Staff were so attentive. On day 2 we had a family emergency and had cut our stay short to fly home. Everyone was so helpful in cancelling all our bookings and making it as easy as possible for us. We will be definitely be returning to The Bale but next time for longer. I would definitely recommend this retreat to anyone wanting an adults only escape with 5 star service and accomodation.

Best holiday ever. It was so relaxing and all of our needs were met. The spa, which we used a lot, was superb. The ladies so friendly, attentive and excellent at their job. All members of the staff were friendly and helpful without exception. Our accommodation was so opulent, we felt like millionaires. Such a great private villa. Where do I start! First, let me start by saying the staff were amazing! Anything you need, just let them know; they are overly accommodating! This trip was a birthday trip for my other half so I booked the flower bath and had them bring a cake to our room. Not only did they make sure everything had gone smooth, they sung Happy Birthday as they delivered the cake. He was head over hills, lol!
The floating breakfast was also amazing! Decent food, too!
Next!!! The room is GORGEOUS!!!! The way you enter the room is flawless. Nevertheless, I felt like a king entering his palace as I walked in. The private pool was everything!
I just can’t get enough of this place. Let me just say, this is home! No one else can have my business.

I’ve stayed at the Bale a few times and the private villas and pool are a great concept but it’s getting very tired.
Last visit there were boards lifting in my suite (trip hazard), the internet didn’t work for half of my stay and for $600 per. night AUD that’s not acceptable.
The breakfast is lovely but room service is a classic case of the menu doesn’t match the product when a premium price is being charged.
Sadly the bigger chains look much better value for the price v quality.

Staff redefine hospitality from friendly to TALENTED. The housekeeping, front desk, kitchen and management were like nothing I've ever experienced before. We felt at home! The photos don't do this beautiful property justice. Easily one of the top properties in Bali, amazing value.

Amazing service and very helpful and friendly. Love the app and communicating via the app to arrange things! It’s amazing. However the condition of the result seems quite worn and needs some investment to bring it upto a standard to compare with other resorts we been to during our stay!

Wonderful accommodation, attentive staff so lovely and kind! Incredible food at the main restaurant, nasi goreng and the orange pancakes off the chart. Lovely to have the privacy and solitude amongst the bustle of Nusa Dua.

Excellent property to stay in a quieter part of Bali, but still 30min away from the airport.
Nice a friendly staff. Good food, Spa, Gum and lovely villas. We will definitely come back.

This place was hands down one of the best stays i have ever had. The Bale was incredibly luxurious and private. The service was impeccable with anything we ever needed they would be there instantaneously. The App with all your needs and services was very convenient and easy to use, more hotels need to look into this service as it was so easy to text our butler with anything ever needed. The private beach club was great. The service at the private beach club with the box with water, sunscreen, cooling gel and mister was a great touch and made it seem like the whole beach was just for us. The rooms and the private in villa pool is absolutely incredible. I will be recommending this all family and friends to stay and if back in Nusa dua, we will be staying here again!

It is a great place to stay. Lovely villa and especially the private pool. Staff are delightful and really look after you. The spa was the highlight for us...First class in every respect! Breakfasts in villa are great with plenty of choices. Other restaurants ok but plenty of choice nearby as well.

We spent the last four nights of our honeymoon at The Balé. We were welcomed by the general manager and got a welcome drink and a complimentary 15 minute massage. It was the perfect start of a great stay. Amazing property, beautiful and spacious villa, great service, wonderful food and drinks. Complimentary shuttle service to and from the beach, as well as all over Nusa Dua area, was very nice. The Tapa restaurant belonging to the hotel cooked up some mouthwatering tapas and the cocktails were out of this world. We would definitely come back. Thank you for your hospitality! Our room was fantastic! It was very private, comfortable, and spacious. The spa/dinner benefit was a great perk. The service was outstanding. The only downside is that the area isn’t walkable, but local transportation was provided by the Bale and they made it very convenient.
