My husband booked this holiday as a surprise for my birthday.Every thing was as he wished although he was afraid when he was reading some of the hotel reviews as some of them would put you off visiting the hotel.We visited the hotel from the 14th to the 19th March 2009. The food was very good, the rooms were always cleaned just sometimes to much noise as when you are on all inclusive you can drink from 10am till12pm for free and no limits.Really it did not bother us but others complained as we did not mind.Would like to thank all the staff for serving us with a smile. We were a bit wary after other reviews, but no problems at all, As other guests have commented, the hotel is good, but the problem is the drunken guests, fortunately, when we were there, the guests were all well behaved & sober. The only gripe I had, was the amount of "free" drinks that were being taken away by the waiters, such a shame that people are so greedy !!

Just a few words to say i have stayed at the Royal beach hotel 4 times now, and i have never been dissapointed, the hotel staff are great and very helpful, the rooms are a very good standard and very clean, The is a good selection of food and it is very good, this hotel is very highly recommended

this was my second trip to this hotel. the rooms are quite basic, but ours had a balcony and we even had bbc1 and bbc 2 on the tv. the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels(we did have a few ants but thats to be expected in a foreign country.) our trip was purely a few days relaxing on the beach so we did not spend a lot of time in the hotel. although we were half board we didnt use the dinner facilities. from previous experience the meals had been quite basic and repeated, if you like chips and pasta you will be fine as they seem to do that every night. other meals consist of things like chicken and fish, thre is always salads and cold meats.breakfast is buffet stlye with cereals, bread, cold meats and cooked items.have never used the pool but there are plenty of sun beds.our room was based on top of the resturant and we thought that we would get a lot of noise but we seemed to get more noise from the other guests getting back late at night, shouting and moving furntiure. the hotel is in a great location for fenals beach which is just two mins away, it has toilets and restuarants although the beach is made of small pebbles rather than sand. the hotel is also a short walk from the centre of lloret which is good if your looking for somewhere away from the bussle of the clubs and bars. we went at the beginning of the season, it was not too busy but due to the noise, i would be a bit weary about returning in the high season.

people queing up for alcohal at 10am is not my idea of a holiday.this all inclusive hotel really is very basic.the rooms were clean but very small and basic.the free drink is the main reason people return to this hotel if thats what you like.def wont be returning.
