I was obliged to cancel my trip to Catania but the hotel never accepted to either cancel my booking or rebook another time in the year. I know everything about the cancellation policy but sometimes they could think about customer satisfaction. It’s the first time I put a negative comment about one hotel. The management of this one deserve this negative comment.

We have 3 nights and 2 rooms for family. The hotel is outside the city but has an access to pool and beach. The breakfast was good , the receptionist were helpfull.

Air conditioning advertised on Hotel.com. We arrived in the evening and the weather was warm and humid. The room AC was set at 25c. There was an option to adjust the temperature and you can hear the AC begin to make sounds that air was blowing after decreasing the temperature to 17. That sound of activity from the AC after lowering the thermostat would stop after 2 minutes. I kept trying to figure out how to keep the AC running but nothing worked. I finally got a hold of the receptionist at midnight because the room was uncomfortable and a repairman came to the room. He looked like he was attempting to adjust the thermostat. 2 minutes after he left the AC turned off again. Evidently the customer does not have control of the room temperature. The hotel sets the AC temperature in order to save money at the expense of the customer.

Property was clean and safe. Excellent location to walk. Staff was very helpful and kind.

The Hotel-staff was excellent and very helpful. We will give a special appreciation to Giuseppe for extra good service. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It has a few good places to eat and drink near by, a shopping mall close by. It’s close to the sea and the lava-‘beaches’ and walking distance to the town center (30-50 minutes), but busses are useful for faster transport (we assume:-)) Ok Italian breakfast. On the downside it’s close to a busy road, but even with our room facing towards it, we didn’t have any big issues. The A/C makes a bit of noise, but it was possible to turn off. We didn’t have a car but the hotel has parking available inside a fenced area. The room was spacious and with bathtub, fridge and a small safe. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed staying at this property for the convenience and location of being close to the beach, shopping and dining. We were very pleased with the staff. They were very accommodating.

Nice hotel with private access to the sea and a very good pool area. The service was great and the location is 3 km from city center of Catania with hourly bus communications close to the hotel, unfortunately the buses were often very full when arriving at this stop.

Beautiful hotel, rooms were clean and really nice with a balcony. The breakfast was great and the pool was amazing too! Would definitely stay there again if I visit Catania again.
