We had a great time. Plus: a little ways away from the hustle and bustle, beautiful trails and waterfront area, great breakfast, our unit had mini kitchen so we could save $$ and have pizza in room. Negative: had a downstairs unit and either people above us were stomping (which I doubt) or there is poor sound insulation between floors. We went off season and it was great. I'd be more concerned during peak on if the place gets crowded. It's like a mini resort with apartments and cabins spread throughout

4 miles of walking trails easily marked, bikes and kayaks to use. They also have a tennis court. Very quiet and tranquil in some areas. And their Breakfast is awesome.

It's going to be difficult to summarize just how good this facility is with one short paragraph. The rooms are fantastic. The way the compound is laid out along the coast amongst the forrest is really amazing. The landscaping was phenomenal, the food was great, the view from the beach/dock/etc was awesome. I really don't know how you could make this place any better. There's a ton to offer for all ages and interests at this Lodge...including free bicycles & kayaks. The rooms were fully stocked with just about anything you could want. The pillows on the bed were so comfortable, I fell asleep watching TV. The staff were super friendly and accommodating....I've stayed in Door County every Fall for the past several years. This was by far my favorite stay. Had I known it was going to be this great I would have stayed longer.

Wonderful grounds by Lake Michigan with some retro touches. Beautiful landscaping filled with flowers and autumn decor. Wish they were open through Christmas.
