Great stopover. Very convenient for central Catania and very friendly & accommodating staff. Rooms are standard size and in keeping with 3-star rating, and kept very clean. Very good bathrooms with lovely toiletries. Perfect pit stop. We had 3 rooms altogether and everyone was very comfortable and slept well.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming to my wife and I. The staff helped us reach tour companies in Italian and arrange for local transportation when we needed help doing so. We would definitely recommend this hotel to any visitors to Catania. They even prepared a room early for our return to Catania before leaving for the USA the next day.

Great location and very walkable. The room was as expected and quiet. The staff at the front desk was absolutely wonderful and provided us a map and all of the key things to see while we were there. It was an amazing overview especially since we were only in Catania for 1 day!

This is a well situated property, able to access key sites with a short 10-15 minute walk. Upon first entry, I was a but taken aback, seemed worn and outdated. But the room, though small, was clean, the breakfast was great, the staff were wonderful and helpful....after 2 nights I felt very favourable about this small hotel.

I had booked a tour of Sicily and Malta but wanted to arrive a day early to recover from the flight. I was exhausted from the travel so simply crashed when I got to the hotel. I did do a little walk around in the morning in Catania before checkout time. The hotel is perfectly situated just outside of the historic core of the city but all of the major sights are close by and it is very walkable. The room was quite comfortable and the breakfast was first rate. Though I made a wrong turn on my way from the Central Train Station to the hotel, it was actually very easy to find my way. The person at the front desk was very helpful and shared a great map of Catania that helped me quickly check out nearby sights.

I highly recommend booking this as it is a great day out. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and there were lots of choices. My room on the first floor was ideal for a solo traveller. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to visit Catania.

Paola and Giuliana were great! Always ready to help. Giovanni was our driver…he was great also Hotel in great location and walkable to all attractions. Plenty of restaurants close by Il Santi is a block away….pretty garden dining at a good price. Good breakfast selection also Very happy here! Very clean! Thank you!
