Unbelievable how well this property is appointed. Beautifully decorated and beautiful room. Unlimited snacks and mini bar. Gourmet breakfast is included. If you stay in Shreveport don’t pas up this place.

Charming and lovely with sparkling lights to lead us into large parking area. Beautiful historic area with large gracious homes. Our stay was easy to access, full of goodies and drinks to take. Large comfy room, decorated in vintage charm. Breakfast was delivered to our room and was outstanding.

John is a great host the best breakfast. had a great sleep and the room and bathroom were very spacious. Highly recommend it for people visiting the Shreveport area. Convent close parking as well. Great central location to activities in Shreveport. Wished I would have known about this years ago and will make this my go to lodging from now on when visiting Shreveport.

The room was beautiful, and had a large bathroom. The bed was so comfy you didn't want to get out of it. The whole place is just beautiful. They had snacks and drinks set up every where, and plenty of little patio areas to sit outside. The owner is super friendly and so we're his dogs! We will definitely be going back!

We stayed at the Fairfield Manor, and we had a wonderful time. The place was filled with a variety of snacks and coffee on demand. Chef John also serves amazing breakfasts and even let us sample some of the food for an upcoming wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and roaming around the gracious grounds outside our house. My husband and I both had a restful night in a super comfy king-sized bed and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. This was our second time to stay with Chef John, but it won’t be our last!

It was comfortable, peaceful, and beautiful...exactly what you'd hope for and Southern hospitality at its finest. Breakfast was amazing. Friendly fellow travelers. I can't say enough good things. It was worth every penny and then some. I'd come back in a second if the opportunity prevents itself to return to Shreveport.

The grounds surrounding the property were immaculate & well cared for. No lack of attention to detail inside or out. The homes are beautiful & well cared for. Character & Charm of French Quarter was evident throughout the residences & surrounding grounds. Pool surrounded by beautiful massive live oaks was a great relaxed environment in the evenings. Looked forward to breakfast each morning & staff was eager to accommodate. A great find & will recommend to others.

Always stay here when I’m in Shreveport! I feel Dave and the staff and John are wonderful! The ambience is charming and always has you looking for something you may have missed the last time!

The breakfast was delicious, staff is very friendly and accommodating. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It’s a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. My wife and I highly recommend this place.

Room was very hot on my arrival. My room was a converted attic which had 1wall hot to touch. The room finally cooled down after a few hours. Room shouldn’t be used on very hot days. Also, had no hot water for the night of and next day.
