Place is super cute. Fantastic decor. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms were rather small but very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to shopping, warf, and mansions. A little pricy but thats Newport. Only thing i would suggest for management is to replace stairway runners. These looked very worn. Overall excellent place.

The Attwater is a true fine. Lark properties never seem to disappoint. The positives were clearly the cleanliness and the size of the rooms. Bed was super comfortable too! Our room was cleaner than many other four and five star properties that we have visited. The only negative was the accessibility of the upstairs rooms. It was a little difficult going up to the third floor carrying bags with arthritis but to staff's credit, they assisted in carrying the luggage. It's an older building so there isn't much that can be done about that. This is a high quality and high value facility and would recommend.

Our stay at the Attwater was lovely, the room was clean and had everything we needed including 2 luggage racks, which is always helpful. The bathroom was small but we managed. Overall a nice experience, and in a great location, walking distance to Thames street but not right in the middle of everything. The breakfast buffet was thoughtfully prepared and the staff was very helpful and welcoming.

The Atwater is hip and in a quiet area. Excellent breakfast, clean, we really enjoyed the deck! The AC was a little loud and the crack from the door to the hall was bright! We'll be back.

Very friendly service, easy check in and very convenient location to downtown Newport. Very minor note, shower drain was clogged and bathroom vanity was broken/falling apart. Bed was comfortable and clean.

The hotel is about 1/2 a mile from the busy warf area but we didn’t mind the walk. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed walking to the Cliff Walk from the hotel as well. We also enjoyed the complimentary home cooked breakfast each morning. Eating on your outdoor deck each morning was a serene way to start each day.

Just a 1 night jaunt to Newport and tried Attwater because of location and great reviews. Fine stay. Really great breakfast. Room (23) was very small with little room to move, but it served the purpose. Bathroom was small but shower was nice.

Fantastic breakfast and nice clean (spacious) room. Definitely will return.

From start to finish my stay was amazing. Peter and his staff are super kind welcoming and friendly. The hotel is posh and spotless and impeccably curated. Breakfast is homemade and delicious and afternoon cookies were a wonderful surprise. I can’t wait return. Five Stars from me.
