The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect to enjoy the best of Barcelona. It’s centrally located without being too busy or loud. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The rooms are very stylish and bright. No kids allowed makes for a quiet adult holiday location

My wife and I stayed at Mirror Barcelona for 2 nights in mid-July. This is a small hotel with mirrors everywhere! Our room was spacious, well-equipped and very clean. The main reason I give it a 2/5 rating is that for both nights we were there, the water to our room and to the whole hotel building was shut down in the evening for a couple of hours! The first night, we came back to our room after a long day of sightseeing, and realized we don’t have any running water to take shower, use the toilet, or even brushing our teeth! I went down to the lobby and the receptionist (the only person working at the hotel beside the barman) was unaware of the problem, he had to call the hotel manager and be instructed how to fix the issue, as there was no service person on duty. Meanwhile, I had to go to a nearby restaurant to use their toilet! I thought this was just a one night issue, but the same happened in the second night with again no running water in the whole building! It took about two hours for a service person to drive to the hotel and fix the issue. It is simply not acceptable for 4.5 stars hotel not to have running water in the whole building for two nights in a row!

shower flooded- hotel entered my room without my consent to remove the furniture that got wet but left my personal belongings including laptop on the floor to become soaked-and then when i asked what had happened they blamed it on me- cursed at me and threatened to call the police. overall a terrible experience. not to mention the lights were broken and room cards didnt work on several occasions as well.

This is our second time staying at Mirror Barcelona. Our first time was about 7 years ago, so it was nice to see the upgrades they’ve made since then. The service was amazing here. Upon arriving by taxi, someone came out to help us with our bags, check us in, and take us upstairs to show us our room and how things worked. The hotel is very secure because you have to use your room key to enter the area your room is in first. Inside, they’ve made lots of upgrades to the room. They’ve replaced the deteriorating white padded walls with something much better, cleaner, and more sustainable in the long term. The room was spacious with a comfortable seating area near the window. The view of the city was great too. The bed was super comfortable as well. The toilet and shower are in separate rooms, so it’s best if you’re sharing with a partner. The shower had amazing water pressure and they also provide robes and slippers, which is a nice touch. The surrounding area is safe with some great restaurant options. There’s also a bar and restaurant at the hotel too. I’d definitely stay here again!

Rooms situated along streetside were prone to noise as patrons hung around outside the hotel into the hours of 4-5am..so if you are sensitive to any sounds, then request away from the street. Front desk told me the panes were doublepaned and that road noise was not an issue but people and partying noise was not exempt from this.
