The hotel US well located.The people is very kind. Rooms are comfortable and clean, the only issue is sometime the liar of the air conditioning system.

On the plus side, the champagne upon check-in and coffee station in the morning was awesome. The staff seemed very friendly overall. Otherwise, there was dog poop all over the sidewalk outside and around the property. It seemed like that would be something you’d want to keep an eye on if you boast about being pet friendly and having a pet relief station. Also, we requested a bowl with a room service order and they strangely refused it. When we went down to ask for one after they said no to go ask the restaurant and the restaurant said no? Such a simple request and I was surprised at how unaccommodating that was. Lastly, the room was TINY and didn’t even have a fridge. I felt robbed at what we paid for that room.

Hotel is beautiful, quiet safe location good for walking but far from night life. The front desk staff is not super friendly but the restaurant staff was wonderful as well as the valet guys. Really beautiful property and surrounding area, great pool, comfy bed and clean rooms!

Not as great of a hotel as it was a few years ago. Cleanliness of hotel has fallen and quality of housekeeping etc.

Incredible independently owned boutique hotel. Checkin was smooth and put me within walking distance to UM for business meetings I was staying at the hotel for.

Overall, this is an excellent hotel for anyone that needs or wants to stay near the University of Miami. The rooms are very well done, quiet and comfortable. The on property restaurants are both excellent, and the service staff is exceptional. The only thing that marred the excellence of our visit was the over $100 charge for a buffet breakfast for two. This was comprised of $35 each for the very ordinary and unexceptional breakfast buffet, an additional $5 each for coffee and tea, and a manditory 20% gratuity, which for a buffet, is unacceptable. With the addition of the sales tax, it was approximately $103. I'd recommend breakfast elsewhere and save your money for dinner at either of the Thesis' restaurants instead.

Moving my daughter into the U, warmly greeted by the valet & offered assistance, check in was seamless with excellent service, Prosecco was delicious 😋 Valet offered assistance to the room. Lovely gentleman that I remember from last year’s visit. The room was nicely dimmed and welcoming. This was a 💯 better stay than last year’s chaos. The breakfast buffet at Mamey’s was delicious with excellent and attentive service, again, last year’s was a disaster! The pool was empty and relaxing. The Miami Hurricanes store is a nice addition with wonderful offerings. Check out was see less, even with a program change. Front desk was friendly and had great follow up to ensure you had everything you needed. Was sad to leave & will stay again.
