The property is absolutely stunning and the staff is fantastic. My wife picked it based on an Instagram recommendation and we were looking for a relaxing night away from our children. Unfortunately our room was across the street from the night club and the sound proofing did little to take care of the bass permeating the walls until 2am. We were provided ear plugs and we used a sound machine but it just wasn't enough. We also had the displeasure of being serenaded by an extremely loud, yet brief, romantic encounter in the room next to us... twice.
I'm scoring this as poor as our stay was not relaxing. I realize the location of the night club is not the hotels fault, but for the high price of the suite I def. did not feel like I received my moneys worth and it has to be known that the bass permeates the walls. I do not recommend rooms on that side of the hotel for light sleepers and I feel as this is something that should be known by the hotel and should disclose and/or offer an alternative at checkin. I realize I probably could have asked for a room change, but having to pack up in the middle of the night to relocate is not ideal either.

Stayed overnight in Charlotte for a concert date night and the Ivey's is the perfect location near both the Spectrum Arena and Bank of America Stadium as well as plenty of restaurants/bars and nightlife. Darion at the front desk gave us incredible hospitality upon arrival!

The entire staff are professional and extremely friendly! The room was immaculate! We loved having coffee in our robes in the morning in the beautiful Sophia lounge, then utilizing the roomy gym. Our valets, David and Adam treated us like Queens in the Queen City! We can’t wait to go back!

The Ivey’s Hotel exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked in. The amazing smells and decor were exquisite. My room was beautiful and the restaurant was out of a movie. The food was delicious and the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I highly recommend!

I came in town on business and I wanted to experience the city since it was my 1st time to North Carolina. Being a newly wed I wanted to stay in a hotel that had a cultural, unique and romantic feel and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Felt like we were in Paris and transported in time. And myhusband and I were happy to find we were in the heart of Uptown (downtown) Charlotte. Right across the street from the Performing Arts center, restaurants and food trucks just steps away and the hotel was stunning.
Due to the need to head to my business event early they were able to give me an early check in and departure which made things much easier for us. Everyone in the staff was super helpful and pleasant. I’d love to come back.

This hotel was one of the most beautifully designed hotels I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in fine hotels all over the world. The attention to detail the ever-present wonderful fragrance in the hallway and Sofia Lounge is just magnificent. David, who greeted us when we first arrived to take care of our car and luggage, really set the tone in terms of a warm welcome. Can't wait for another reason to visit Charlotte and stay at The Iveys!

This hotel was a great find! The room was beautiful and comfortable. The air conditioning worked great and small gestures such a high quality ear plugs on the night stand ensured that we slept great even in a busy downtown area. Really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the facility.

The hotel was excellent! The hotel is lovely, and so are the rooms. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathrooms were large and updated. There were numerous extras, like a small bottle of Prosecco in your room and water bottles by your table. The person who checked us in was very friendly and had numerous suggestions for things to do in the area, as well as a great casual restaurant for dinner. I would highly recommend the hotel. The only negative is that numerous homeless people in the area approach you during the evening and ask for money. They are not dangerous or aggressive, but it's different if you're not used to them.

The parking service that the hotel sell to another company ( big mistake never give away your clients),send you at your telephone a lot of wrong messages. You can try to stop this...IMPOSSIBLE....this is NOT hospitality, for me it was harassment, and you pay for that! Will never go back to Ivey's.

AMAZING hotel and incredible staff! This hotel is so beautiful and unique and we loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. One of our new favorites! Don't miss this one if you're in Charlotte. The staff was so friendly and helpful and made for a fantastic weekend! We will be back!
