Very easy to walk to the beach, the pier, restaurants and shopping! The rooms are a bit small, but with so much to do, we were only in the room for sleeping so it wasn’t an issue at all. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed here last year, and hope to stay again next year!

Second time staying here, room was clean and cozy but met our needs just fine. Street noise was loud but that is to be expected with the location. Front office staff/ owners were very friendly and accommodating. Will stay here again.

The room was quite small but sufficed for a beach stay, although we were expecting something a bit larger. The balcony to get to the rooms was so narrow that people couldn't sit in chairs if people were walking by...never mind carrying things in to stay there.The room was very clean. Quiet hours were posted from 10pm to 8am but there were very loud partiers that kept many of us staying there, awake till after 2am. Since no one monitors the office after 8pm...not much any of us could do. Disappointed.

The people at the Motel were pleasant and our stay was a good one. Small room, but expected as a motel. Was disappointed in the HOTELS.COM process saying we paid all but $30 to then arrive and find out that wasn't true. My receipt from Hotels com said one thing, my credit card account said something different. So, don't rely on the Hotels com receipt.

It was a fun time and staff was friendly and very accommodating will be staying next year!

Close to the beach. Room was very small, beds were full size not queen as thought and mattress was very uncomfortable. Very minimal amenities. TV only had a few satellite channels. Train passes behind building makes lights flicker. Most upsetting was when we had an issue with office staff. We saw they had an extended stay feature available for an extra $25 fee in the room book so first thing at 8am I went to the office. Extended stay options were instead of 10check out can do "for free" until noon or all day beach pass for $25. So I paid for the extended stay/beach day which I was told by the husband owner gave us access to room, facilities and parking for the whole day up to about 5pm. I verified that I would be able to use room and shower after beach time again and was told yes and went back to room. Got to beach for 10 and by 1145 I received a call from the wife owner who told me I only had one day at room and needed to be out by 10, I said we did extended stay and she says yes but that only gave you parking and pool access and I needed to get my stuff out of room immediately. I again stated I paid with husband the extended and she said I misunderstood and she had someone that needed the room so I asked for 30minutes so I could get stuff off beach and get to room since I had my 3yr old with me and husband was getting food so j was alone she says to leave my stuff on beach and get stuff out of room. our beach day was ruined and I had to pack up and leave in minutes. Beware!

The experience was not what we were hoping for.

Read some scary reviews (train horn for one) never was bothered by train during normal sleeping hours. Very clean broom for sand from beach). Was not told about pool or back deck. Got lucky with parking near our room.

Pretty upset because we booked with hotels.com with a price but when we arrived at the hotel there was others fees that were charged so the total exceed the price we wanted to pay (70$ more). Considering it 750$CAN for 2 nights, I found it really exagerated ans not honest. I try to understand the situation at the reception of the hotel and with someone on hotels.com but no one could help us. Each other told us it was the others one fault. We have no solution and have to pay too much.

As soon as my wife and I arri ed ,I went in to check and I was greeted with extreme enthusiasm which made me just as enthusiastic about being there. Owners Lisa and Peter were incredible hosts throughout our weekend stay. The staff were awesome The Columbian exchange student practically took my luggage from my hand to take it upstairs for me. The other Dominican gentleman was awesome as well. Ome of my best friends made the 3hr drive to see us. Lisa adamantly allowed him to stay in one of their personal parking spots for his daily stay at no charge for his few hours. The pool area was clean and they have a quaint seating area in the rear. Parking is a little tight,but you're right by the beach so who cares. All in all it was a great stay. Thanks again peter and Lisa.see you next year

Our stay was outstanding! We couldn’t be happier with our choice! The rooms were so nice and clean, the staff was so nice, and the location of the Seagrass Inn is perfect! The beach and pier are right there! We will definitely be back!

For two people (not a couple) I booked the Deluxe Suite, 1 King Bed with Sofa bed at the Seagrass Inn for one night based on the good reviews I saw on Hotels.com. This room was listed as "1 King Bed and 1 Double Sofa Bed" and "sleeps 4" and states "bed sheets" and "Separate bedroom" in the description. In reality this was a very basic room (which was fine). What was NOT fine was that no bedding or sheets at all were provided for the sofa bed. The hotel office was closed so when we realized there were no sheets or blankets of any kind we were not able to get any bedding. At checkout the next morning when the person staffing the office asked how our stay was I told them about my disappointment She said I should have booked for three people (I replied we were two people). Then basically blamed me for the situation and I should have known to make a special request. Needless to say I would not recommend.

Perfect location, super friendly staff, room was very clean only issue was the train shaking the room during the night but that is in reviews I saw so it was of no surprise. Still overall would definitely stay here again

The property is located near everything, room was clean. Walk across the street right to the beach. Balcony is not very wide but nice to stand out and people watch. Great area in the back for grilling breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Very nice pool area. Will be back

Great place with a great location. It was okay clean but the the beds were cleaner. For 4 individuals it is small. The best part is the owners. They are soooo kind and helpful. Having access to ice was also fun. Thank you!

We did an impromptu get away on our anniversary. We snagged this hotel as we were married down the street of this hotel. We were welcomed and love the room. Great location and wonderful owners. Give this place a shot if you want a taste of coastal Maine.
