Great location. Very clean. Room a little old. Nice and friendly lady at front desk.

I stayed for one night for work. The area is very nice the bay very pretty. the hotel and staff were very helpful and polite. the room was spacious and very clean with A/C. I cannot comment on breakfast as was up and gone early. good proximity to shops and beach. I ate out in a local bar which there are many to choose from. don't expect a cheap one though!

They never changed our towels during a 4 days stay. They ignored the sticker on the door asking to have the room cleaned. Check-out is as early as 10:30 AM, while check-in is at 4:00 PM. Yet, they still asked us to check in one hour later. Our request to check-out later was rejected. The mattress is uncomfortable. On a positive note, the darkening curtains work wonders (but don’t move them too fast, or they will fall) and there wasn’t much noise at night.

Consider it like a 16 room Bed & Breakfast and not like a bigger hotel that has 24/7 concierge. Nice owner. Location not bad once you learn the shortcut paths to the main action of the village. I enjoyed my stay.

The manager was very nice and helpful. I had a very nice room, complete with balcony. The hotel is on a very quiet street, yet close to the central area and old city. I highly recommend this hotel. Great value!

Very cute little hotel in a cute little town. But room was right against the lobby with thin walls, which felt a tiny bit awkward. Lovely otherwise.

Proper location with easy walking access to shops, marina, restaurants and beach. It has a unique feel to it, and is good value for the price. Virginia was very kind, stayed late to meet us at our arrival, and had valuable suggestions to make our trip even more enjoyable. When booking with Expedia you can select the time of your arrival to let them know what time you will arrive, since there isn’t a person at the front desk at all hours. This helped us check in a bit early.

Friendly, welcoming staff on reception, clean rooms with air conditioning and a balcony, perfect location just minutes to the beach and restaurants and all at fantastic value, would definitely return.

bad facility, not comfortable, front desk closes early. i would not recommend this property. my tv did not work, too much cigarette smoking in the garden area that seeps into your room.

Room was basic but very clean and towels provided. late check in was facilitated easily. unfortunately bed frame broke during the stay, was temporarily fixed by staff whom were apologetic but stiff uncomfortable with sloping mattress. space to leave bags after check out and before flight was provided but not secure. over all good value for money in location but could use some improvement.

The accommodation is set just above the Old Town of Villefranche Sur Mer which is an easy 5-10min walk through a stunning hillside garden to many great eateries and stores. Directly out front of the property there are more places to eat and a convenience store for groceries. The property is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The hostess is welcoming and made us feel at home. Villefranche Sur Mer is one of the most beautiful towns in the South of France and Hotel Le Vauban made our time here perfect. We will be making an effort to return!
