The hotel is clean, the rooms and lobby. It even smelled fresh. But after a 10 hour car ride and looking forward to a hot shower. Very disappointed to find out there was no hot water. This was not told when checking in and when I went to the front desk, they were like “yeah, we have received some complaints” and I felt I was dismissed.
While this is my 6th time staying in the area to see my USC student. This is the worst place I have stayed. Also, you need to pay for breaks and it’s at a very high premium price. I will go back to the other hotel that I have stayed the other 5 times even tho it’s 10 minutes away. This place is not worth the extra cost.

Our room was dirty. Hair in shower & floors. We asked for a different room. It was worse. Sheet had not been washed. Found hair & food crumbs in made bed.

I appreciated having a bar and small restaurant in the lobby. All of the staff were polite, courteous, and efficient. Gervais Street has a lot of street noise, which is unavoidable, but nonetheless detracts from resting on the street side rooms.

The bathroom require proper grouting the beds were not made until requested shor staffed.

It was close to the event we needed to get to. Easy to find. The only uncomfortable aspect was the front desk clerk. He was just very curt and not very informative. Any help or questions, he made me feel like I was bothering him. I would not stay at this hotel again just based on my experience with that particular clerk. He was not friendly or helpful.

What was distasteful was the noise level in the area to the extent it did not allow for a nights sleep. The mattress was a little soft; never obtained deep sleep level.

I always bring extra cleaning supplies for reasons like this but never had this bad of an experience from a Hilton hotel. I didn’t complain because it was only for one night but if I would’ve stayed longer, another room would have been requested. I was very disappointed
