Liked the proximity to the city center and the variety of breakfast choices. I had a ground-floor room, so I easily heard passersby on the street and people coming in/leaving the hotel. Recommend bringing ear plugs (and eye mask as the curtains don't block out all light).

The view from the room was pretty and the firework show over the city was a wonderful surprise! The room was nice - but the bed was too firm and the room was not soundproof, so laughing from the lobby and the closing of doors was heard very easily. Other than that it was a nice stay and lovely to cross the bridge over the river from the hotel into the beautiful town.

The Villa Areka can only be recommended - top location, in a few minutes you are in the wonderful old town! Rooms in top renovated condition, where you immediately feel at home. Wonderful view from the room of the beautiful old town and the castle! Very friendly staff and a delicious breakfast buffet!

Great location and views. Friendly, efficient staff. Heads up that hotel has no real system to store bags after check-out, which is a relatively early 10am.

Very nice stay and we did like the location for the parking. It was challenging with the stairs to old town (I have a bad hip and knees) but we did it. Quick walk to a bridge to old town. Beds were comfy. Noticed there was no air conditioner but we had a great breeze with the windows. Breakfast included and was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Typical independent European hotel. Simple but functional. Great location with easy access to the center of down, down a flight of stairs. I had a city view room, which had a great view of Cesky Krumlov and the castle.

This hotel is located just stairs(70steps) away from the old town and you can park your car at your hotel for 200ck. Hotel is very clean and located in quiet residential neighborhood. Breakfast was really good.

Hotel Villa Areka was clean, conveniently located, comfortable, and in a very quiet part of town. The staff was very accommodating, allowing for early check-in and answering any questions we had about the town. The breakfast was delicious! I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Cesky Krumlov.

Great experience. Newly refurbished hotel, right on the entrance to the city center. Walking distance anywhere. Very cozy. Pleasant atmospehere. Lovely and attentive personnel. Will come back.

Everything was perfect. So nice host is welcoming guests. And It's all newly renovated.

New clean comfy family hotel. We had a deluxe room with amazing view to the old city. Good breakfast. There is no possibility to make a coffee or tea during the day, no refrigerator is available. Towels, soap and shower gel are provided. No hair drier, shampoo and body lotion are in the bathroom.
