The apartment itself is pretty new, with a big, comfortable bed. It is also very clean, and the location is very quiet so there was no disturbing noise from the outside. A big supermarket is just around the corner, and the beach is only 5 minutes away by foot. The area is very residential and I didn´t see a lot of tourists. The price felt very fair.

I was travelling alone as a woman and I did not feel 100% safe in this area at night. If you are travelling in a group or as a couple I think it should be fine, but as I was on my own I did not feel comfortable. Upon arrival, the host did not wait for me at the apartment. Instead I had to wait for 15 minutes alone in the dark on the street at 10pm at night, despite telling the host exactly when I would arrive and sending them my live location on whatsapp so they could tell where I am and meet me immediately. This did not feel like great customer service to be honest and very inconsiderate towards a female solo traveller. The air conditioning was broken and leaked so I could not use it, which was not great given that it gets very hot in August and one of the reasons I decided to book this place was because it had air conditioning. There were a few things missing in the apartment that are essential for travellers who intend to stay a week or more than just a weekend. For example, there was no dishwash liquid, and only one roll of toilet paper. The towels felt very cheap, they were the kind where the fluff comes off when you use them and then it sticks to your face. There were also not sufficient cleaning supplies, for example there was no broom or vacuum cleaner that I could have used to clean off sand from the beach etc, and there was also no cleaning cloths or cleaning detergent. A socket or an extension cord next to the bed was missing. I had to unplug the lamp on the nightstand to be able to use a socket. With a few minor improvements the quality and comfort of this apartment could be easily improved.
