We had an amazing stay. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was cozy and very comfortable. The common areas were very clean and well equipped with anything we could have needed. The view of the vineyard and lake was beautiful especially on a warm fall day.

location was great, easy to find and get to attractions. views of the water whether it was the small pond, the lake or the vineyard all awesome. very quiet and comfortable. John and Lenny were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and property. Can not wait to return, this location is definately on my list to return to.

Pros: very friendly owners who provided a personal tour of the house and room. Nice location with easy access to both casinos. Very comfy bed. Having access to a kitchen with complimentary water bottles and popcorn. Negatives: the breakfast was underwhelming and disappointing: only cereal, bagels and granola bars alongside the coffee, milk and oj. There isn’t a sign so we drive past it since it looks like a private house; look at what it looks like before arriving so you recognize it because there is very spotty cell service there and I couldn’t bring it up online when arriving. The view of the lake is very minimal and not a true selling point: it’s not really accessible though there is a pond that can be walked to. The winery won’t be open til summer of 2025 and the vineyard is very small so also not something to stay here for. Summary: we’d stay here again but for a better breakfast and forested location, check out Abbeys Lantern Hill next to Foxwoods.

Our stay was absolutely what we were looking for peace and quiet. Best sleep I’ve had in YEARS! The house is VERY clean inside and out. The hospitality was 100 the best by far. They totally gained regulars with us. A must stay
