Room was fifthy, dirty carpets, bed dirty/dusty, luke warm water, in need of a refurb and deep clean, no toiletries and towels are worn thin, suggest to use your own
Over priced for a room poor standards
Would return if we had another room that was clean

The guest house was very central and it was handy for the hub restaurants cafes and bus station. A wee but run down but the bed was very comfortable. Very adequate. I stayed 3 nights

The lady was very helpful with a text telling us what to do and including a list of places for dinner and breakfast but I personally don't like not being welcomed by a person. The room was adequate but the en-suite was very lacking. The shower had a crack in the tray the doors didn't stay shut and the handbasin was totally inadequate. The tap was too large and the basin too small so you couldn't wash your face and the plug didn't fit so the water didn't stay. Sorry, we felt it was very overpriced for what you got.

The room needed a thorough deep clean. The shower was in a cupboard, I didn’t shower as it was too dirty. The toilet was in a cupboard down a ramp. Communication was good.

The hotel was great, they allowed me to mince around the premises wearing my arseless leather chaps and nipple clamps during the day and my yellow hot pants in the evening.

Was disappointed that could not have a soak in the bath that’s what made me chose it when saw picture

The guest house was in a very good position for the town and amenities. However the apartment that we stayed in was tired, in need of redecorating and repair as the window frames were crumbling and difficult to keep open. I would give the cleanliness a 3. The cooker was not very clean and unusable as there were no saucepans. We didn't see the owner once during our stay.

Nice pleasant stay, great location very private. The Georgian guesthouse is basic and this is reflected in the price, but has everything you need (except breakfast although there are plenty of options locally), nice clean rooms and a very helpful owner.

Have stayed here a number of times and we got a great room until breakfast time at 8am when people's were standing outside of our room(room 4) and were quite noisy. I have a feeling this has changed hands in the last few months

Our room was a lot smaller than we expected especially the ensuite. The sink was so small you could barely was your hands in it.

Great location, absolutely lovely staff, so accommodating! Free parking all over Alnwick. My only minor negative was the leaky bathroom tap !!
